I think a big turning point was the consecutive Mann offensive rebound in the third. We were looking to cut the deficit to single digit. We defended them well but they maintained the lead with 2nd chance opportunities. Then our morale collapesed.

Our bad offense is because of you Mazzulla. People can downvote this comment all they want but these are the facts.

Chucking up the first 3 in sight is not good basketball. I’m so tired of people saying the Celtics got good looks when they really weren’t. A pull-up 3 with the defender in your airspace is not a good look. Mazzulla continues to live and die by the 3 making zero adjustments.

Why is Tatum bringing the ball up and dribbling the air out of it at the top of the key, 30 feet from the basket where it is easier for the other team to trap, forcing him to give up the ball? Whatever happened to giving him the ball in the mid-post where he was very effective a few months ago? Every shot the Celtics take is under defensive pressure while we have to watch the other team move the ball around and get easy looks. There is no reason to go score-less for 6 straight minutes considering the offensive firepower we have on this team. That is just inexcusable

  7. Am I the only one that hates this response? Joe is always pointing to efficiency when Cs lose. Like ya you miss shots you lose but it’s like he’s too stubborn to look past that and play an adjusted style when shots don’t fall. Why can’t this elite defensive team with great at rim finishers in Tatum and prozingis win grind it out games where shots aren’t falling?
