Damn, that was a hell of a development game, ATL needs to start their rebuild

    Solid game from Nwora.

We needed a solid rebounder down low, having Poeltl in the game would have made this a Raptors blowout.

Also Scottie kissing Dick was such a wholesome moment.

  2. watrmeln420

Welp. It was fun and that’s all I wanted. We aren’t chasing wins this year.

  3. asapshrank

take notes y’all, we just witnessed the perfect tank game

    Proud of those guys tonight!

  5. paolocabrini

Great game. Love the Hawks acting like they impressed against a team missing 3 starters. Development Szn.

  6. ZoroChopper10

    Great game

Scottie, dick and nwora all played good and thad young secured the tank loss

  7. Raptorsthrowaway1

Great development game without RJ, Yak and Poeltl. Some observations –

    * Nwora showed more poise, NBA level skills and BBIQ this game than McDaniels (and maybe Chris?) has all year. Expect him to be one of the first guys off the bench the next few games

    * Great to see Gradey get some solid mins. Made a couple of rookie blunders but that’s exactly what these games are for.

    * Did Bey become a superstar? 15 FTA?!

    * Shoutout to Thad. Hasn’t played much all season until the trades and barely at all last year. Stays ready to take on a significant mismatch every night

    * Atlanta are in big trouble, barely scraping past the rebuilding Raptors without three of their top 6. They committed too much for DJM. Trae is an amazing player but not good enough to be the #1 guy on a contender.

  8. kevin_lam1203

Ah the perfect tank game. Exciting. Kept it close and entertaining. L at the end of the day. Perfection

  9. wilson81585

Least surprising way to lose at the end, Capella killed us on the boards all night.

  10. TensionX1

I’m okay with the loss, we need to get a top pick!

  11. brolybackshots

Tough loss, but Nwora, Scottie and Dick really showed out tn

  12. mxgicjohnson

    Adrenaline builds chemistry.

We’ll be better next game, and the game after. Keep it pushing. Hope Masai cooks something up at the deadline

    P.S. I love Dick!!

  13. RedRocket13

Competitive loss where our young depth guys show out? LETS GOOOO

  14. CameronFcScott

Awesome game!!! Raptors win in my books tbh, refs gave it away

  15. jjkiller26

A really fun and pretty encouraging game for the bench guys. I like seeing guys like Gradey get extended run with the ability to play through his mistakes rather than get benched after one bad play. Nwora and Porter were both really impressive as well. That group had some nice chemistry on offence.

This game was the blueprint for what first option Scottie could look like. Get him the ball in the post, if a double comes he’s finding open shooters/cutters. If there’s no double he’s scoring on his man in single coverage. Also he was everywhere on defense tonight. Really impressive performance

  16. Clutch L. These are the types of games we need this year. Good games from young guys, and competitive losses. Hawks also kinda look like ass.

  17. Ok-Discipline9998

    Clutch L 💪💪💪

But seriously the guys put up a real fight, Nwora and Dick were pleasant surprises, Scottie is consistent as always, and we get the result we need. Can’t be pissed.

  18. Rockin_Zombie

Really wanted that win fucking foul baiting Trae GTFO. Happy he didn’t get the call against Nowra, he just barreled into him for a foul WTF. What a game by everyone. Dick is finally an NBA player and we got the best Jordan in the history of the NBA LFG.

  19. sinoforever

This is the most enjoyable tank game there is. We won emotionally without our starting PG, SG, C, and climbed the tank ladder.

  20. A perfect way to lose the game. Good development and the tank continues.

  21. BeNiceMan99

    3 things:
    – we love losing to ATL game winners
    – PERFECT stealth tank job
    – it’s not looking good for Gary. 2 players completely outplaying him for his spot. Dick and Nwora are cheaper (and probably better) options

  22. Cheechers23

Lots of great signs in this game. Scottie was great, Dick was great, Nwora was awesome.

We NEED a C man. We cannot be this reliant on Poeltl.

  23. Porter not seeing minutes late in the fourth was really questionable by Darko, no reason to keep Thad and Brown out there with the nights they were having. We lost to not boxing out.

Great development night for the bench regardless but we could have had that.

  24. creepypaster

Zero paint presence or rebounding without Jak. I don’t expect us to win any games until he’s back. Thad and porter just doesn’t cut it in the nba

  25. lillithfair98

Gary playing 26 minutes in that game and somehow only having 1 rebound and 0 assists is…. something

  26. PaintTouches

I know it’s hindsight but I surely didn’t love seeing Thad, who absolutely cannot jump off the ground anymore, get subbed in for Gradey at the end there.

  27. Leaf_CrAzY

So I see all the Pascal haters have moved on to Thad. Disgusting people.

  28. keegsbrou

Nwora and Dick had great games today.. Scottie was solid, would’ve liked to see him take a couple 3s. Solid tank game, fun to watch, can’t complain.

  29. Gotta be happy with the performance tonight. Bunch of young guys, 3 starters missing and they stayed in it until the final second. Really happy with Dick and Nwora’s performances tonight. Dick still seems to be trying to do too much, but overall happy with his game tonight.

    The Canadian Tank

  31. Ok-Discipline9998

Actually the tank bros are right, tanking can also be fun to watch. If we win, some of the young boys must be doing very well or the opponent must have shit the bed, either way it’s fun; If we lose, eh, no harm done for my mental health.

  32. GeniusMouthBreather

Bruce Brown with the “trade me” play of the year. Zero defensive effort on that last play vs Trae Young

  33. Gradey looks so much more confident then he did at the start of the season. Darko’s super secret training program ftw? lol

  34. pdappadon

Can’t box out to save our lives 🤦🏾‍♂️

  35. yaboydrew7

Really took advantage of a bad defensive team, loved what I saw from Nwora. I like Dick getting double digit shots up and Jontay was nice as well. A perfect tank game. I would like to see how good this new team is with Jak back (defensively that is)

Hopefully this continues to trend upward for player development

  36. mistercannabisca

boy oh boy the day Scottie gets the whistle players like Trae do….league is cooked.

  37. WhatsTheHappps

Good on coach darko for riding nwora and dick down the stretch. They earned those close out minutes tonight

  38. Legitimate-Software7

Im past the point of caring about wins or losses, just happy to see some development

  39. More entertaining than a lot of the games I’ve watched this season. Great to see the young guys out there hustling and making plays for each other.
