  1. JJ Reddick be like: im still voting Chet for ROTY no matter what

  2. Frankbiggums

cause if he loses the efficiency argument hes got none left for roty 😬

  3. Mikeuntzdry

What’s worse is that ridiculous 3 point attempt from stew

  4. molinar95

Am I the only one who thinks this is a bad look when ur team is down 14 going into the 4th?

  5. Eric_Nathan_Fielder

Most players do this shit and it pisses me off so much. Thank god for Steph Curry.

  6. Mathurin actively takes those shots, and I love him for it.

  7. xpillindaass

he knew he had no shot his weak ass couldn’t get it close to the basket

  8. thewrongnotes

A LOT of players do this.

When you consider how much everyone picks apart stat lines nowadays, it only makes sense that players would be against ultra low percentage heaves.

Lmao I see your flair OP. I would have said last couple of months is going to be fun with agenda pushers for ROTY but Wemby has been trending up and Chet trending down. So unless this changes it won’t even be a race soon. Wemby is now averaging 20pt 10 rb 3 blk 3 asst for the season.

This is why I love Giannis and Dame. Both have been chucking these weaves at the end of all quarters.

Dame has like 2 missed 3-pointers per game on these hurting his percentages

Let’s not act like most players don’t do this

  12. 2against1

What players don’t do this? I know jokic and curry don’t. Who else?

  13. SunstormGT

Yes many players do this, but not when down by 14.

  14. Absolutely hate this shit. I remember growing up and loving full court buzzer beaters as much as dunks

  15. Dad_Control

JJ had a segment on this, a lot of players make it look like they’re trying and do this. It’s just the dumbest, most mathematically illiterate approach as if your season of over 300 3PA (that’s an average of just under four attempts per game) is gonna be ruined by *this one shot.*

    Just asinine.

  16. BullsBlackhawks

I hate this shit so much. The pinnacle of it was this season when the Bulls were down by 2 or 3 (don’t remember) with a couple of seconds left. So the fucking game was on the line and Patrick Williams just casually dribbled it off instead of taking the heave. One dude in the sub was like “those rarely go in anyway”. Who cares about the %, a chance is a chance especially when the game is still winable. Crazier shit has happened.

A lot of players do this shit, soft as fuck

Lebron and KD come to my mind

  18. Street-Common-4023

Why you acting like players don’t do this all the time especially now

  19. Toolmantaylor8

You see this almost every single NBA game.

Like quarterback kneels losing rushing yards, it feels like heaves past half court, shouldn’t really count against shooting percentage. But I guess there’s no way around it, and only gamblers/stat nerds care.

  20. They shouldn’t count shots beyond half court at end of quarters to count as shot attempts in the stat sheets. Then you’ll actually see these guys attempting these shots
