Wake up babe, Monday’s free karma is here!

  2. FERFreak731

Should disqualify the Sixers for the playoffs for doing that

  3. BossButterBoobs

At this point, it’s obvious he’s just scared of that matchup in Denver

  4. He’s a 30 year injury prone center. It’s not that deep. I promise you all he’s not as scared of a regular season Jokic matchup as this sub makes it out to be

  5. This is the team taking a hit for him. Nurse has zero problem walking to the podium before a game and telling bold faced lies as long as it is better for his team. He will do anything for an edge.

Also not having him on the injury report saved the whole pregame narrative about him ducking Denver in Denver. The team did this to save him the social media scrutiny and will pay the fine gladly to help protect their most important player.

Also if you have inflammation problems, going to altitude will only make it worse.

this is BS, there’s other players out there that actually rest or use load management as an excuse to not play in games, but a guy who legitimately gets injured the game before and doesn’t want to risk anything long term has to be looked into because your TV ratings were affected by it.

    just a pathetic league.

Sixer fans really think “but Maxey and Harris were hurt already!!” Is at all a legitimate excuse lmao.

Bro has 6 more games to miss before he’s not longer eligible for MVP.

  9. The reality is the Sixers are gonna eat the fine for not disclosing injuries and that will be it.

An inverse of this where teams list a star player available to play after being listed out merely less than an hour before the game is a common tactic that teams have played in the playoffs. Suns did it with Booker, Sixers did it with Embiid. Some teams do abuse the injury report. In those cases the league came down with a 50k fine but that was it.

The only element the league can add to that is the new resting policy that was introduced at the start of the season but I doubt they have anything sufficient to prove it was a resting or ducking gimmick.

And for Monday’s course roast duck and potatoes

  11. It’s very funny that if you just said “a 7ft 280 lb center probably has knee problems” you’d agree with this until it’s about Embiid, then this sub has people questioning medical staff with the passion of your conspiracy theorist uncle.

  12. HolyRomanPrince

I like Embiid and I hate when people insult athletes. With that being said it’s hard not to call this entire thing a bitch move

  13. BradyReas

Yeah it was total bs he wasn’t on the injury report

  14. peteisneat

Charina late again. Michael Malone already told us this.

  15. bmanley620

Embiid didn’t want to get outplayed by Jokic and hurt his MVP chances. That’s where his priorities are

  16. Imdabiggestbird69420

I thought it was justified until i saw this. Embiid really is ducking Jokic☠️

  17. RoastDaMostToast

Surely they’ll do the same with Cade last night right?

This has been happening with the whole league all year. The injury reports and tags have been super inconsistent and it’s super frustrating.

  18. Michauxonfire

god dammit Shams, you got the money, hire some speech therapist or something. You can’t be talking like a nervous 9 year old presenting their book report.

  19. sokocanuck

What’s the deal? He’s afraid of Jokic or something?

  20. I just feel sorry the fans who paid huge amounts of money to see the 2 best players just for this to happen

  21. steamliner88

He experienced shaking knees, sweating and feelings of dread. Doctors suspect a bad case of gutlessness and cowardice.

  22. RawDogMal

We don’t care. Not even remotely, his health is the number 1 priority. Not playing a meaningless mid season game in Denver to appease reddit.
