What you would have your number one guy on your team do in those moments sure would I like that number one guy to be Kobe white I would have but uh tonight Kobe White did not look like uh the elite specimen uh that he has been over

The the last couple of months of basketball here um the three ball just wasn’t falling for him okay dear was a little bit up and down as well but at the end of the day once he started getting it going in the fourth I’m fine with dear taking those shots it

Separated the game it it put you in a in a position where you know you could take a lead and hold on to a lead that’s that’s fine because as much as we dislike it demard Rosen is still probably the best player on this team at this point blame the blame the front

Office for that um that has nothing to do with the actual players on the court I think that in the fourth quarter though um the the part that I guess the part that stood out is once he got it going you knew he was never going to

Give it back like you knew that the ball was never going to get to anybody else and that’s the part where I do want Demar to show more situational awareness right there’s times where you can get it to some of those other guys there’s times where yeah everybody’s focusing on

You to make a play and then all of a sudden boom you kick the ball over to uh uh uh uh Kobe white in the corner or Julian Phillips in the corner or at that point Alex Caruso was in there we saw how iow dumu into the game right it’s

Shooting so I guess it’s not that there aren’t things that concerned me in this game it’s the things that concern me you don’t have the players on this team that are going to fix that now in my opinion because listen we waiting on Javon Carter to get it back

Has improved is now we’re seeing him do this while consistently getting the shots that we think that he should have taken and just just so you guys understand how much more Kobe white is actually shooting the ball while improving all of his numbers last season in totality Kobe white took 334

Three-pointers made 128 of them this season he’s taken 334 and he’s made 131 of them you look at the field goal attempts uh uh he’s taken 693 season before 594 he made 263 in 2022 this year 3177 already knockdown the consistency that we’re seeing from Kobe white I

Patrick Williams to develop now Patrick Williams may have a better skill set right now I think he’s a better shooter I think he’s stronger I think he’s better going to the basket all that but the basketball instincts that I see from this young man to me are already Leaps and Bounds better than

What we’ve seen from P will in three years in the NBA and if I can take that and develop the shooting develop the uh uh uh ability to finish at the rim and different things like that you why wouldn’t I want to put him on the

Court here’s the and so I explained it like this because I know people a lot of people are asking why doesn’t Julian play more and the thing that I always look at is that in the G League he’s able to do more he’s able to have the

Ball go through him he’s able to score as much as he wants working his dribbling things like that and so when you’re trying to round out a player skill set keep in mind too they were trying to adjust this three-point shot back to how it was in high school after

His college coaches jacked it up I understand why he was playing in the G League I’m not going to say he deserves minutes once everybody’s back healthy or he’s he’s gonna still play but I think at I look at it this way you got Tory Craig you got Patrick Williams out there

This is the time where you do play period yeah and especially when he’s not yes it was a game against Portland we got Toronto coming up on Tuesday uh give him that opportunity see how it does against a better team in Toronto and then you know you can make your decisions based

Off for other minutes there but to me you at this point now with how he played today you let him keep getting opportunities to earn minutes you don’t just take it away from him let him keep earning those minutes I think I think the tough part for me is right like I

Feel like we use the g-league almost to players detriment because we I can understand that like let’s be real what more is Adam Sago learning down there he’s putting up 20 and you’ve watched more g-league games than I have he’s putting up 20 plus points every

Time I see him on the court like he’s dominating at the g-league level what what more is Julian Phillips and I’ve seen probably more of Julian Phillips down there than I have Sago because at this point I don’t even I know he’s good enough to come up and play at the NBA

Level like at what point do you say yes you’re getting to do this on the court every day m but you being in Bulls practices you being up here competing against NBA players every day those are the things that are going to make you even better I need to see that more

Consistent than going down there and hooping up against these g-league guys there’s some guys that need un btim he need to be down there well no did you see him late bro he started off shooting 22% from three he’s all the way up now to over 40% no he’s learned and

Adapted at this point now he’s definitely he’s definitely getting better for sure but but that it it’s it’s definitely just like I’m letting it Fly you know I’m not see for sure absolutely I’m not seeing as much of a you know over overseas he was like let

Me take you to the bucket real quick and flush you real you know what I mean like he’s still he still got to build the strength up to me now so again he’s gotten even higher since then so this is how well he’s been playing now lately he’s a he’s taking seven three-pointers

Per game he’s now hitting that at a 45% clip like I said he started off shooting 25% the season hey but but so I think that that’s part of it too though I think that once they’ve committed to and because I agree with you D sonogo somebody who’s played a lot of college

Basketball uh you had some questions about adjusting to the speed of the game things like that he he’s now going into the g-league and basically he’s g-league sha nobody’s stopping adogo in the g-league nobody’s stopping him in he literally is walking on the gym like yep

I see I’m gonna get my 20 tonight it’s so bad I saw him bacon WAP somebody he can’t do that in the NBA bro no you know he can’t do that in the NBA but it’s so bad he like I also think I also think there’s something to be said

About maybe now that we have a Player Development staff that they’re really trying to down there to to get that staff because keep in mind the staff doesn’t always travel with the team so I again I’m trying to I’m trying to add logic to it but outside of that the

Logic that I’m trying to apply to it yeah NBA minates are always going to be better if you can get them consistently that’s the biggest thing if you can get them consistently so you you have to weigh yourself is the 10 minutes that Julian Phillips is probably

Going to get when Patrick Williams comes back worth more than the 25 minutes in the g-league and to me at this point I would say yes because we’ve seen him average 20 and 10 in the G league and I think here’s the thing with with sonogo with Julian Phillips maybe batim is

Getting himself to a point where we can start to have that conversation about him as well but I need to see it for more than I think it’s been like the last six games he’s really been cooking um when you’re sitting here at this point talking about what do these guys

Look like when they get on the floor this this ain’t Marco simonovic guys right remember every time Marco on the floor he look lost what’s he doing why is he at the top of the key with his hands doing it he’s waiting to shoot the basketball no get get out the way go

Down there with the big oh Jesus you got dunked On Again sit down sit down stop getting dunked on sit down we haven’t seen that when these guys have gotten on the floor in fact both of of these guys have looked like they belong in the NBA

When we’ve seen them on the floor so I think to me right like if if you’re talking about Julian Phillips getting consistent minutes even if it’s you know 10 minutes at the end of the game or you’re getting them in here and there and different things like that just to

Try and fill different spots like it’s going to be more impactful because he’s going to be able to get real NBA players going up against him right like remember everybody was like oh dalen Terry defended LeBron on the play he was doing great like I laughed at that because it’s like what’s

He supposed to do but at the same time he is guarding LeBron it’s a lot different than guarding g-league LeBron who’s probably not gonna make the lead I don’t even know who the g- league LeBron is at this point it used to be uh
