Remember… Mitchel Robinson is coming back close to the playoffs… that gives you 10 more offensive rebounds per game in the playoffs, even if he can only play 15-20 minutes, which will be the case. As for Randle, he has never shown up in the post-season, and has the worst post-season record of any knick in history. Reality is, it's everyone else who needs to step up around him, I don't think he believes in himself when he gets to that stage of the competition.
I don't think there's one specific player that needs to step up although obviously OG and Brunson are the ones the Knicks will expect the most from to pick up the slack. I think guys like Hartenstein on the starting lineup (from an offensive perspective), McBride & Grimes in the backup roles, and even Achiuwa will need to step it up. Since the trade, Randle/Brunson/OG have been playing with the backups to add some consistency so in order to not wear Brunson or OG out making up for Randle's minutes with the backups, McBride/Grimes/Achiuwa will all need to up their game.
