Y’all keep saying call him up but imo I’m convinced he should spend the rest of the year in the G before working his way into the real Hawks rotation next year starting in preseason. Jalen being relegated to the G by Nate actually ended up being a good thing because he had more time to polish some aspects of his game
I feel in some ways also that AJ getting a chance last year and then hitting the wall & losing his confidence wouldn’t have happened if he started in the G and worked his way up, because some things could have been improved there first (and now he probably doesn’t want to go to the Skyhawks at all despite being out of the rotation)

I think this is good for him because he’s getting playing time against nba players and he’s building his confidence and at this point I would rather him play in the G league and actually get playing time and get better than call him up for 5 or 10 minutes a game. Everybody is hating on garrison but he’s actually having a good season and honestly he’s playing more than he was supposed to because of injuries so under the circumstances I think he’s doing fine.
