I was en rolling in January but you take out two key pieces in OG and Julius how was it for you guys out there tonight um it’s definitely an adjustment we um losing two big pieces but uh never we got to find a way mentality is always mentality is always um nextmen

Mentality and um just collectively being better as a group is there anything that you think you learned like back in Del was out for stretches like with Julie’s being gone now that you can apply to this situation now I think it’s totally different I think I think it’s um different um but

Uh it’s obviously you can take bits and pieces from all your experiences no matter where you’ve been and I’m just kind of forming into um how you want to be going forward so I mean just you can take bits and pieces from everything the reports today that julius’s timeline it

Seems more like it’s going to be weeks rather than months M what was your reaction to that okay just okay yeah do did you have any feeling of like I mean you seemed pretty down about it after the game the other day did you have any feeling of relief

That like okay seems more optimistic than maybe it could have been uh yeah I talked to Julius um we had a great conversation um yeah that’s all that’s all I’m going to say how encouraging was it though to play you three guys to play so well without without him in there um it’s

Definitely uh plus you know when you can win on the road no matter who’s on the court um obviously we’re going to miss him um but uh I mean we got to continue to find ways to get better every single day no matter who’s out there no matter

Who we’re playing and um just have that mindset every single day what you think of the fans tonight that’s that’ll never get old for me hearing let’s go next in away arena is one of the coolest feelings so that was pretty dope he how

How nice is it when you have a guy like Dante out there who’s not just necessarily the level of shooter that he is but how he just does not hesitate at all putting anything up yeah he’s um he’s aggressive he he’s always been that way he’s always been wired to attack and

Know just have that mindset every single time um and uh he just he makes the right play and uh obviously he’s streaky he can put the ball in the basket but uh know when he’s out there he’s good at making decisions making reads and know just making sure that he’s is doing the

Right thing every time he’s on the court with with Julius not out there I mean so much of your guys offense is Julius St to the ball and you guys get a lot of spot up threes from that how how can you as a point guard help kind of still be

Able to create those spot up looks but but in other ways I’m going tell the defense to double me so then I can do the same thing julus used to do you ready for more traps uh whatever it takes whatever it takes we’ll find a way I know he always grabes B playing

Playing the before butn filling in today 11 rebounds kind job he you may not like it uh Josh is all talk all all bark no bite so um whenever the ball is thrown up in the air he’s he’s going 110% every single time no matter what he says so um

That’s just how he’s wired the the mentality of like talking about Julius again the mentality of an athlete to want to play I guess versus you know whatever long-term thing I mean is that a struggle for all athletes that go uh no I was going to say yeah it’s definitely a struggle and

Um you it’s a lot of Mind Games you know when you’re when you’re out and um physically unable but um that’s our job as a team teammates to make sure he’s uh his head straight and um just making sure everything is good but um yeah we got continue to give him confidence and

Make sure he’s good and I know this the way he works and puts into this game you know he’s he’s a merit thanks J
