If Jalen spends the summer working on fundamentals of offense he can make that jump in year four. This season I hope he just continues the path he’s been on with rebounding and getting to the free throw line.

Like, i love this but, how do you get to the NBA without knowing basic stuff like not to just stand around? Lol.
Glad to see him improving tho. The potential of him, Cam and Amen have in my mind is limitless.

Something interesting though is the rockets were the best rebounding team in the nba last year but aren’t near the top this year.

noticed this last few games. especially on free throws, he would run in to rebound. snatches them away from sengun and most of the time pushes down the court immediately. good for him, get the balls in his hands, be aggressive

Seems like the key thing moving forward is consistency. Can he maintain this focus throughout the season? At this point I doubt anyone else can maximize Jalen’s potential more than Ime, so we might as well keep him. Trade talk should be barred until he’s had a full season or two under Udoka. Games like last night give me hope.

Kudos also to Jalen being extremely coachable. Thats what I like about him he doesnt pout and bitch when coaches tell him how to get better. Now if only he can fix his broken jumper Fertita is gonna be sweating bullets at the two rookie maxes he needs to give out in 2 yrs…
