[Mark Medina] NBA says that Warriors-Lakers game on ABC drew an average of 3,968,000 viewers, which was the league’s largest regular-season audience across platforms in four years (Christmas Day excluded).

šŸ—£ļø and it wasnā€™t because people love to tune in to watch the Lakers take free throws

  1. 3,968,000 people got to see how curry is the most disrespected superstar in the leagueĀ

Everyone got to see Steph get fouled at the basket, but no-called, and then the team lose

League is so dumb, rather than embracing and pushing Curry while he still has it left it him theyā€™re doing their best to take him out of the spot light. He still draws the most viewers but Silver doesnā€™t care about that. Silver going to OD off coke if Lebron somehow ends up with the Dubs next season.

I know there’s a ton of pirating in the NBA but that number seems pretty terrible. NBA definitely suffers from the TikTok generation more than any other sport because highlights are so easy to catch up on and pretend like you’re invested or watched all of it.

In the middle of that sentence I realized I was just basically describing /r/nba. And /r/warriors a bit too if we’re being honest

Lots of viewers wondered why the Warriors were playing 5 vs. 8.

And yet they found the worse refereeā€™s possible for the game. Keep up the great work NBA.

Crazy how low that number is though. Adam Silver really tanked the league straight into a raise. A true role model tbh.

The NBA has legit problem that it’s two best players are 39 and almost 36. Not to mention playing defense is now impossible and the refereeing is dog shit.
