Barry Jackson : For those of you who have picked Herro as Lowry’s scapegoat successor, keep in mind that Tyler and Kyrie Irving are the only SGs in the league averaging at least 20 points AND shooting at least 40 percent on 3s. Just sayin’.

  1. The team is an issue. It’s clearly a mental block. We thought we had some easy games, didn’t give it our full effort. Then we get Terry and need to acclimate. Then we play tough teams. All of this while dealing with a shooting slump.

For other teams, this is bad. For us, it will be good. I’d rather face adversity now than in the playoffs. We come back from this, most teams don’t. And once we come back, nothing will feel out of reach.

comparing tyler herro to kyrie irving lmfaooo

  3. Herro always hits his 3 pointers to bring the deficit down to 15

  4. Gavster1221

    TS%

    Kyrie 58%

    Herro 54%

Kyrie 25.2 ppg on 19.6 FGA

Herro 21.5 ppg on 18.5 FGA

And if we start going into the advanced stats Kyrie way ahead. Idk why Barry and or Heat keep making these Herro comparisons that are just not fair to the dude. He is not at that level

I think this says more about the state of shooting guards in the league than anything else lol

  6. JabezMakaveli

This is almost as bad as saying tyler herro belongs in the same conversation as luka and Devin Booker

  7. TheRealGlutenbob

I’m more worried about herros defense than this offense

  8. Well Kyrie is significantly better than Herro so idk if this is accomplishing what he wants it to.

Nobody ever doubted that Herro has a good 3 point shot. It’s literally every other aspect of his game that sucks other than rebounding sometimes.

What an absolutely braindead, out of context comparison. Kyrie does that while being a dynamic playmaker, putting pressure and making shots around the rim. Herro shoots the three well and thats it.

I’m really starting to tire of this man/emotional fanboy Barry Jackson.

I like Herro and this comparison still sounds whacky to me.

With Kyle gone, who else can we pin this on? Jimmy? Spo? No way.

  12. Verumsemper

The issue seems that teams have figured out to exploit the heat defense by making it hard for Bam to help by putting him in actions and making sure he is one someone he can’t help off of. Spo needs to adjust.

Crazy to say these times are when haslem is helpful? Who’s lightin a fire under their asses?

Jimmy? Bam? Herro? Feels more like they relied on it too.

Barry is such a good poster. Dude is in his prime right now at generating engagement. We are witnessing greatness.

It only solidifies that he needs to be playing in more of a catch and shoot capacity and way less ball handling.

Am I being gas lit? Why do these comparisons persist? Literally setting dude up for failure.

  17. He’s not the scapegoat, there in no particular player or coach that should be blamed, but no one is without blame either. It’s just a bad stretch we’re in. I do think our team will benefit from Tyler playing more offball. Zach Lowe said it perfectly, 15% more more Klay. He’s not saying be Klay just run around more. Yes he’s a more than capable shooter of the bounce but he’s better when the ball is moving around. But EVERYONE has to be playing with the rock zipping around, not just Tyler
