As a fan of Basketball, but also business, the team owners and leagues need to start taking out special insurance or legal agreements amongst each other, regarding protecting their superstars, and sorry, this wouldn’t extend to anyone that is not a superstar. The moment an average road player hurts a superstar, he puts the entire franchise at risk, this would include the sponsors, and the media platforms that run ads. It is insane to me, why you would allow a Bugatti (Embiid), share the court with a bunch of Camaros (road players) hired to cause havoc with reckless abandonment, and have them share the court without special rules in place. Road Players should be warned, if you hurt a Franchise player, and we can prove you demonstrated reckless abandonment and or malicious intent, that player and or their franchise will be expected to pay Millions of Dollars in damages for the extended period said SuperStar is out of Commission. We need to protect the safety of Franchise Players, for their health, availability, and for the sake of the NBA as a whole.

It was an unlucky season for you or maybe you're just an injury prone player. Injuries happen and injuries will play a factor in your career. Just look at Kristaps Porzingus. He got traded TWICE because teams just couldn't rely on him to be there when they needed him. If he was a guy who is almost always healthy the Knicks never would've traded him and he'd be on a super super max deal.
