Rockets expedited the new gym Fertitta is building with all these bricks tonight

  2. altingumusorman

Why does the offense look so bad in these type of games?

  3. Few_Mulberry7859

Jalen has his swagger back. Him and Cam can be the perfect wing duo down the line

Bench unit seriously needs shooters. Just swapping out Tate and Jeff Green for a Kevin Huerter, Quentin Grimes type guy is enough when Tari comes back

  4. PkEvolution

Too much Holiday, not enough Cam. This one is on Alp, if you don’t have it on the offensive end then you have to contribute on the defensive.

  5. plutosbigbro

Ime rotations need to be questioned. Segun looked absolutely gassed and Cam not getting minutes in the second half after a great first half doesn’t make sense

  6. bkuuretsu

4th quarter was brick city. Disheartening, but we move onto the next

  7. Low_Indication9154

    We need Eason back soon

    NOLA poverty franchise don’t care

  8. antipoopsuperstar

Couldn’t watch most of the game. They were going on good runs when I was watching though. What happened to Al-P?

  9. PeepDurpel

Beginning of the season I thought Ime would snatch the COY. Now I don’t think he’s in the convo

  10. Intelligent-Bid-633

It was going to be a loss from the first quarter. Any team has big bodies and clog the lane will beat us because that stops Sengun and we can’t shoot from the three.
Only Jalen won’t be able to save us. Can’t tolerate Jabari’s 0 points as well.
In today’s NBA we will stay below .500 with this shooting. Unfortunately our young guys Amen, Tari are not great shooters either.

  11. lambopanda

Damn Jabari 21 min, 1 reb, 0 pts. Is this his worst game?

  12. rickthedickkk

They were playing good defense but its not like we were against the bad boy pistons. I haven’t seen a single PnR between FVV and Sengun.

Ime had a very different gameplan for this match and Bari scoring 0 points & Sengun having the worst game of this season was the result of that shit.

  13. StandardProper5127

Look at the bright side , in 3 years Jalen , Cam , Jabari & Sengun are going to be one of the best starting lineups in the league. Am I right ? 😮‍💨

  14. hyzer_berg

We played like shit. But I don’t understand how we win by 30 with no Holiday and today he’s playing almost 20 minutes. Was Jabari hurt or something?

  15. nonetimeaccount

SOMEONE BUY ALPI AND BARI SOME ICE CREAM AND WRAP THEM IN A COZY BLANKET AND PUT ON A MOVIE. THEY NEED TO FEEL BETTER.

JALEN, PLEASE BE FOR REAL. THE FUTURE OF THIS TEAM IS SO DIFFERENT IF THIS IS WHO YOU ARE.

I’M SO IN LOVE WITH CAM

THAT FINAL BOX SCORE AIN’T FOOLING ANYBODY, FRED

WE NEED TO FIND A DEFENSIVE SOLUTION TO THE 3 BALL.

    I MISS TARI

NEED TO STEP IT UP. GOT A CHALLENGING ROAD TRIP COMING. COULD EASILY TURN UGLY FAST.

    STAY TIPPIN

  16. Excellent-Cod-3430

I got Ime figured out. He will refuse to play Cam, bench Sengun when he makes even a slight mistake or miss layup, and run offense through mediocre vets like Holiday and Jeff Green. He’s a toxic coach and will ruin our young core

I just hope Cam and Sengun keep their head up. My message to them is don’t worry guys Udoka will eventually be fired and yall can be free. Better days are coming even if it sucks now

  17. kopite008

Who tf is letting FVV Holiday and Jeff G take 15 3s between them? This whole sharing the ball system is bs when you have guys like Fred who can create but can’t shoot for shit, guys like Luka take 35 shots some nights why can’t we create more for Jalen and Cam and let them take 3s.

  18. SeanSungASong

Şengün lost us the game but as far as I’m concerned he should have the longest leash in the whole league. Nothing to really be said about him for this except that he’s young and that it happens, he will play better in the future, same for Jabari. Jalen on the other hand looks back. My man is COOKING. Once Tari returns and the whole team starts cooking, we’ve got something hot in our hands.

  19. JrpgGamer

At least Jalen is continuing his trend of becoming good in the 2nd half of the season.

    Rough night for the offense

  20. 2ToTooTwoFish

Sengun should get 20 shots a game, doesn’t matter if he’s cold, he still gets the most high percentage shots in our offense.

  21. NoneMoreBLK

Sengun had a pretty bad game. He started off pretty good, but his confidence seemed to wane when he didn’t see his shots falling. It probably won’t be his last bad game, but we have games pretty much every other night, so he’s got to learn from this and move on.

We’ve seen Bari disappear offensively before, but 0 points 😱 I know he’ll be picking himself apart after the game.

  22. The thing I have noticed is that Ime started to use Sengun more as an pass-first offensive coordinator for the last couple games to get the others going especially from the 3. Alpi is taking way less shots than normally and also gets less touches.

And I’m brutally honest, this has backfired drastically. Because Rockets just can’t shoot from outside. The other teams know this for a fact, that’s why we’ve been seeing everyone clogging the lane lately. So you either encourage Sengun to take way more 3s to force them to respect his outside game, or the others need to start making their 3s. To me personally, neither of both things will realistically happen for a foreseeable time, so Ime needs to rethink how he wants to play offensively.

Jalen Green having a couple great games may be a good sign, but he still often plays selfishly especially when driving in the lane. He needs to see his open teammates sometimes. Bari having an offnight and Pels shooting lights out didn’t help either.

Rockets need shooting and they need a backup C ASAP. Sengun with his 90s style post-heavy game will get exhausted fast, you can’t have him play more than 28-32 minutes a night. He isn’t bulky like the other 7 footer centers and therefore has to rely on his agility in the paint which burns more energy.

  23. Intelligent-Bid-633

Also the standards Sengun is held against in this sub and also by Ime is not fair.
Everyone says he’s had a terrible game, yes he was sub par compared to his usual self but he was 10/10/5 with just 2 TOs. He missed some bunnies but it’s not like he shot 20 times.
We’ve seen such terrible games from everyone else this season, even today Jabari was beyond bad, so what’s up with this?
I can’t imagine what this sub would do god forbid he had a game of 2 points 2 rebs or something.

  24. WuziMuzik

Green was carrying tonight, but without sengun going too they couldn’t keep up. And the refs didn’t help. It’s tough to be consistent when there is so much youth. But there were still some good reps in there for cam and amen. And they didn’t quit and made that late push.

  25. pyrotech_support

Yeah we missed a lot of shots but moreso New Orleans just played much better than us tonight.

They aggressively helped and clogged the paint, and we were way too slow, methodical, and hesitant to make quick passes to punish them at all. Just played right into their hands.

On the other end we were too weak getting around screens on the perimeter, got frequently mixed up switching and helping the helper off ball, and terribly ineffective stopping Jonas post-ups, both one-on-one and with help.

Cam and Amen have to play more, Holiday, Tate and Jeff Green should not play at all post deadline.

  26. SubstantialCategory6

I missed the game: what happened to Bari? Did he get injured?

  27. I think it’s safe to say we won’t make it in the play ins. We are simply not good enough. Sengun needs to be more aggressive. You can’t go from 31 points to 10 points the next night. That’s not what the star of the team can afford to do

  28. Like I said JV cooked us and I was downvoted for saying that in the game thread
