This is fairly consistent y’all. In 15 out of 16 It’s been 20 or more with the one being a 16pt triple double.

Has his TOs increased the last few games, sure. “Rookie wall?” Come on now. lol let’s chill with the overreaction guys. The rookie will have rookie moments. But Victor also now officially leads the league with the most 20pt games with 5 blocks or more. The rook is elite. Don’t let the team struggles and his mishaps throw you off.

Yes losing sucks but he’s a rookie. Team is young. Still our rebuilding guys. There will be bumps in the road but at least with got a 7’4 bright spot.

It’s not really his fault. Teams just realized we have zero consistent offense outside of him other than a Devin Vassell jumper

Honestly for a guy who turned 20 a month ago, if 20/10 on solid shooting with the best rim protection in the league is an off night you take that

Yes stats are great, but we all saw him do magic in last 5 against the likes of Giannis, Durant. He seems to have cooled down a lot. He’s physically so dominant that I don’t see him ever scoring less than 15 unless his teammates completely stop passing him the ball like at the start. It’s great his stats are still high which means once he gets hot again it’ll reach 30+ easily.

I’m not arguing against you – Wemby’s awesome and I still can’t believe we have him!

That said, his numbers don’t always correlate with how well he plays, in my opinion. he has plenty of meh games (by my view) with great numbers. So, this is kind of arguing past the folks who are saying he might be hitting the rookie wall.

Wemby is a rookie and plays like a rookie that is what is scary about him. He is not as polished as Luka coming to the league. Imagine how good he will be if these are his rookie numbers. He will be much more impactful in his 3rd year. All he needs is a capable team around him.

This guy’s “rookie wall” is still better than most NBA players’ normal performance, lol

People who say “Rookie Wall” don’t know basketball.  2 things are happening, we’re seeing Wemby play B2B and the other Teams have been more physical with him.  Then factor in how much defensive help he provides, how far he’s running to set picks up top and breaking free after a shot in hopes of a fast break.  He’s doing a lot of running period but for a 7’4 guy, it’s insane.

So far, Wemby is the wall.
Time to take an all star break

Its more of a wall in the sense that teams are building walls to stop him. They crowd him and double team him and he doesn’t know how to deal with it yet. Once he figures that out… I might actually feel bad for opposing teams.

Can’t really be mad at Wemby when he’s the one consistently saving us from utter humiliation.
