> “Kyle Lowry is much more likely to be bought out of his contract with the Hornets than traded again ahead of the deadline due to no team wanting to adjust for his near $30 million contract, sources said. Many executives around the league believe that Lowry wants to reunite with Nick Nurse and return home to play for the Philadelphia 76ers. **It is also worth mentioning that the Sixers have given indications that they won’t be making a huge move at the trade deadline, instead saving their pending cap space and flexibility.”**
I still think us ‘not making a move’ is just posturing, so will be disappointed if we don’t.
I would be fine with Kyle on a buyout. I would love if the Hornets could do us a solid and get Hayward off the books so we could pick him up too.
When is the last time the Sixers landed a big name free agent? Free Agents aren’t leaving their teams anymore, they’re staying for the bigger contract. The chances of us getting a big player is pretty small. They have to make a trade.
Lowry is mostly washed but I think he’s still probably slightly better than Pat Bev right? At the very least he can shoot better than him.
Why is any fan here even considering Lowry? Dude is washed, flops A LOT, sucks at defense and has inconsistent shooting.
Every minute spent considering this move is a minute not spent considering a real, game changing trade.
I do not want to see Lowry chucking 3’s lmfao.
I’m truly done with morey man I have been for some time and I’m so upset they extended him we’re stuck with this kicking the can down the road bullshit as we wait for that star that has yet to come available and continue to waste embiids prime
Is this guy credible?
Adding a washed disruptive Lowry doesn’t move the needle on the dial towards winning a chip or getting out of the 2nd round in my opinion. it’s why the Heat moved on addition by subtraction he was not increasing their odds of winning. no thanks,
We should get Demar Derozan won’t cost much and will be a sneaky good move. I think it would probably take a 1st and some role players no way it would be more than that. That plus adding Lowry would make this team better. If we have any open roster spots open afterwards then add Danny Green at the end of the bench.
Lowry isn’t nearly as cooked as some fans are saying. He’s a far better offensive player than Pat Bev. Defense? Not so much
