The only thing I’m holding out for now is a Butler-like playoff drive. I mean he can only get better right? Maybe the hype will built at playoff time and get his mind outta whatever slump he’s in re: the domestic issues

I watched his pregame press conference. He just seems inherently unhappy with his (personal) life right now, and it’s bleeding into his game. It sounded like he doesn’t like being in Milwaukee (feels socially isolated) and prefers Portland. I think he’ll be gone by summer.

i am a patient good looking man, but i have officially closed the excuse factory. make ur shots. we have plenty of people on this team that can shoot league average or better from three without plays being run for them or being “in rhythm.” i cant accept this as a reason an elite player wallows in sustained underperforming we would not accept from pat or middleton.
This is why I hated the trade from the jump. If Dame isn’t scoring, he offers you absolutely nothing. At least with Jrue, the defense would be really solid

They showed his per game stats as a blazer and his same stats as a buck during the game last night. They were practically identical. What we are getting from dame is who he is. A great shooter and elite closer at the end of games who doesn’t play defense. The defense around him needs to improve and we could probably give him the ball more especially at the end of games. Giannis also needs to get more comfortable with him and playing off the pick and roll or off the ball entirely. He could be very dangerous that way, he just needs to learn how. Maybe doc can help with that, though it might not happen this season. He’s been playing Bud style ball for five years.
