[Pingalore] Hearing from @nba peeps @KingJames is the top of the @Lakers list to trade the 39 year old. Pelinka is looking for the right team to dance with and is close to a suitor Lbj and AD both out tonight. @KTLA

So complete hypothetical… who would you be willing to give up for LeBron James?

  2. Chillyfilla

I don’t miss that side of the LeBron media circus that follows him.

  3. x4candles

Although he doesn’t have a no trade clause, he does have a 15% kicker added to his salary if he is traded.

  4. TallBobcat

    Nothing.

Just take Bronny with the last pick of the first round and get LeBrons twilight years for cheap.

  5. jacknifee

i ain’t gonna lie a don/lebron/mobley/allen core would put us on level with the celtics.

  6. ConsistentBet13

    DG and LeVert for LBJ?

Uhhhhh, done. DONE. Yes please. We’d be instant favorites to make the ECF at minimum.

  7. okeedokeartichokee

No, I don’t want the choice back! The Cavs are a battering ram right now. I want a championship without him.

  8. The number of people here that believe this concern me.

  9. we need to give up this dream, its not worth gutting our team

  10. Substantial-Match126

anyone from CLE and really a die-hard cavs fan want bron back? be real and honest haha want some inisght here

  11. Old-Shower-1543

I already threw $5 on cavs to win it all. If we got bron I’d actually have a chance to get it back lol

  12. Keep Allen, Garland and Mitchell. Trade Mobley and whatever filler/picks needed. Or Keep Mobley and Mitchell and trade Allen and Garland.

  13. AdministrativeLaugh2

Guy has 7000 followers on Twitter and people still believe he’s got some massive scoop

  14. I think people are seeing it wrong. What if hes returning to Miami? Cavs are made to compete for titles for years not 1 season.

  15. If Spida signs, I’m all for it. It gives us a realistic 2-3 year window to get a title. But if it’s essentially just a rental for the rest of the year, hell no. You can’t give up someone like Garland or Mobley without a longterm commitment.

  16. privateenergy

As crazy as it sounds. I don’t think any team would trade for Lebron.

  17. NotAn0pinion

Who is this guy? Not trying to discredit him, I’ve just never heard his name

  18. sallright

The Lakers have traded Lebron to the Lakers and also picked up Buddy Hield, Danilo Gallinari, and 3 2nds in the deal.

  19. TheSmokedSalmon420

It’s such bullshit that he’s a FA this summer and the media isn’t saying a WORD about it. The Cavs never failed LeBron as bad as the Lakers have and yet instead of ESPN/NBA Twitter constantly saying he needs to leave they are instead silent or coming up with make believe bullshit trades to try to make the Lakers decent. He is absolutely “LeGone” and all this other trade rumor bullshit about OKC or Golden State or Miami is a joke – the fact major media outlets aren’t talking about how perfect he’d be back on the Cavs is a fuckin shame.

  20. 100_proof_plan

This ain’t happening. Just in terms of optics, the Lakers would get crucified by their fans.

  21. Waffle-head1999

Obviously this hypothetical and the only realistic package the Cavs could offer for Lebron would be DG + a role player. It would just hurt A LOT to see DG go. Especially coming from a fairly new Cavs fan too…….

  22. enraged_hbo_max_user

I thought “LBJ and AD both out tonight” meant the lakers wanted to trade them both tonight lol

  23. defph0bia

At the current timeline of the team, trading for LeBron is not ideal. A trade for him will 100% include atleast one of the young guys (Okoro, Garland, Mobley) and/or Spida. That’s not worth. A free agency signing though is the ideal one.

  24. Still_Level4068

IDC if you get a chance at LeBron you take it. We would have a higher percentage chance to win especially in the east than anything else we can do. It’s just facts lol

  25. Lebron trade gets mentioned and people who haven’t watched the Cavs since he left are suddenly coming out of the woodwork to set up trades lol

    Just funny how that works.
