Im gonna talk down this team real quick so when I say what im about to say I dont just sound like a homer:
Defense was piss poor, absolutely terrible effort by the team, they didnt play with patience, and you can just tell these last few weeks theyve been waiting for the all-star break. Had bron and AD been in this game, i guarantee these guys bring it more. And if its gonna be like that, I rather these guys give me their full effort, or rest them and put some guys out there who arent taking games off. The chucking 3s is kinda whatever because eventually they started to fall somewhat. However, its the defense where you can really see these guys dont give a fuck.
That being said, how tf after 3 quarters was there a 14-3 disparity for the Bron and AD-less Lakers on our floor lol. There is NO WAY we only earned 2 trips to the line in 3 quarters. Im telling you that the league must not like Tatum or Tatum being a Celtic if his whistle stays being this bad despite being one of the faces of the league. You got lesser known guys getting soft calls and Tatum seemingly cant get one at all. Its crazy man.
Disgustingly bad basketball tonight. Every player on this roster should be ashamed but thankfully it’s one game only.

Our guys decide they’re not going to shoot, play defense, or protect the ball, Austin Reaves gets Lebron level calls, I had to listen to Reggie Miller for an entire game, and the Lakers bench wins their finals on the Garden floor while Lebron and AD sit on the bench dressed like the fucking Backstreet Boys in 1997.
Gary Washburn must be furiously yanking it somewhere.

I’m not that worked up over a L, but the effort and focus was really lackluster and that’s disappointing.
Porzingis and brown both played probably their worst games of the season. Tatum did the thing we always want him to do which is drive to the basket and get to the line and he managed to get to the line only one time. 9 turnovers in the first quarter. Just an overall lack of effort. Austin reaves just peaked. The most frustrating game of the season.
James Williams was the same ref who overturned the call at the Pacers game and the same one giving the Fakers all their free throws. His ass should be out the fucking league

From the start of the game it was clear their heart wasn’t in it. Don’t know why they just Mail in some games at times
It’s a long season we all get that. Losses will happen. But when the opponent misses their best players Boston often comes out with the mentality that the game is already over
It’s the nba and everyone is capable. Boston didn’t attack mismatches, threw sloppy passes when they did pass, and the rest of the time had guys just iso ball when they didn’t pass

We may have the highest ceiling, but our actual low is the worst in the league by far. I watch a lot of league pass and noone has games this bad for 48 complete minutes but the Celtics.
