My first impression is it seems like you’re trying to put wayyyyyyy too much info in this visualization if your goal is just to show when the game swung and what the lineups were. Do we need 15 different symbols for all different types of events included in that?

![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_down) I glean nothing from this other than a migraine.

  3. This is pretty awesome! The lineups are especially nice to see at a glance, and I do think that is particular interesting helps to see how the game swung. The symbols for the shots, assists, etc., are, while cool, probably a bit much, and can distract the eye making it all more difficult to read. If that could be an optional or togglable element, that would be nice, or even if it was more limited to things like turnovers or other game-swinging moments somehow.

  4. I like the concept, but could be cleaned up a bit. Would have to think too much for my time right now to give deeper thoughts. Maybe only breakdown the linear progression by a unit of 1 minute, meaning 48, and in the case of a tight game, expand a second one for just the last 2 minutes in much smaller increments of time.

It is understandable, and I like the detail. The people who are bitching just haven’t seen the whole picture yet. It took me a second, but I get it and respect the work put in here, very interesting.

It takes a few passes back and forth to interpret but it’s pretty interesting

  6. Why do personal fouls and turnovers have the same icon?

Any way you could superimpose the points part over the entire graphic instead? It feels like that would be way more helpful for a visualization of how the game swung with relation to the lineups.
