For those of us who were down on KAT this offseason, how are you feeling after his bounce-back year so far?

I’ll be the first to say that I thought he would have growing pains in the new 1B/2 role, but I think he’s dispelling any concerns that he can’t be a great partner to Ant and key piece to a contending team. Who knows how things may shake out in the next couple years roster wise; all I know is that KAT is having the REVENGE TOUR I was hoping for.

Congratulations big fella and lets keep it rolling 💪

he’s grown up more in the last year than all the years combined since his rookie year.
his talent was never in doubt, only his maturity. if he keep’s trending the way he has this year he’ll age like a fine wine.

Ask me after the playoffs. He has been good this year though so not hatin’.

Further down on him than I was last year. He does not deserve an all star this year. It’s just absurd.

Love his play but he’s always going to have kind of a lame personality. Might be a generational thing, but then again I love Ant as a person. Hes fun and seems fun to be around. Kat seems like he was pampered a lot as a kid. Like a hockey player or something

It hasn’t changed much to be honest. No Wolves fan that I’ve seen has really has ever doubted KAT’s skill, and I’d say that — much more than I’ve questioned his benefit to the team — I’ve defended and appreciated him as a person and young player.

In this moment, I’d say that I trust Connelly and don’t have an agenda past that. I don’t want KAT to be traded. He has been nothing but loyal and good to our franchise and the city. He’s also mega talented and I don’t think a single trade asset can return the value he brings.

At the same time, our championship window with this roster is one, maybe two seasons. We don’t have trade or draft assets. Conley and Rudy contribute mightily to our record and are on the wrong end of their careers. Idk, it’s a weird place to be, I’m just enjoying where we are in this moment.

He’s been pretty amazing, especially his shooting. The only real bone to pick is turnovers. Maybe some bad shot selection.

I remember the morons saying we NEEDED to find a way to trade him for Scoot

This version of KAT is the best version of KAT and I NEVER want him to leave.

Love KAT as a human being.

As a player it’s more of the same tbh. Incredible 3 point shooter. His ceiling is limited only by his hoops IQ, which still feels shockingly low for his time in the league.

62 points on +/- 0 is a perfect example of that.

I’m glad he gets accolades, as he doesn’t deserve only hate, but outside of a tiny bit better play, he still feels like same high risk-high reward player.

    He’s so weird.

He can put up numbers like a hall-of-famer (literally, check his company at multiple 60+ pts games)…. but he just has not been a winner. He never *seems* like a winner on the court either. It’s so easy for him to be thrown off his game, and he still makes really bad passes.

If we’re up 20 points, he’s a big reason why.

If we’re up 2 points, I’m scared to death that he rebounds the ball.

I was just a little down on KAT, but thought if he had a bad year I would really be down on him. He has had an excellent season so far. I wasn’t sure that they would figure out the 2 bigs situation.

i was wrong. i apologize. that said, he could get an “injury” or start whining and fouling again at any moment and be a hazard to the team for months.

I cannot answer that until I see the playoffs. He’s been an all-star before, need him on the court & impactful post-season. Anything less than 4 wins & it’s probably time to make some calls.

Finally stops bitching after every no call and now we have to watch ANT do it. It’s exhausting.
