But they haven’t seen what Marcus can do with their high potential team aside from about two weeks.
I don’t see why they’d sell on him, or anyone, until next season.
This season is a wash with Ja’s shoulder and everyone else’s injury. Run it back next year at full health and see what happens. Nothing they do this month is going to stop their plans from being deferred unless they literally swap their top five for a contenders top five.

I’ll be shocked if the Grizzlies do anything major. I saw they swapped Adams for Oladipo and was a bit surprised, but they got 3 2nds out of it and Adams isn’t critical either. It makes very little sense to really blow it up since that team when healthy is a serious contender in the West, they’re just having a cursed season.

Bucks and laker fans have spent the whole season talking about wanting to trade for Smart. I laugh every time I see it because why would the Grizz trade him? 1. They aren’t tanking 2. They gave up 2 firsts for him & 3. They specifically wanted Marcus’s leadership
