At least we’ve got one person defending Lavine. Crazy how much the discourse has affected his value.
I’ve said it before as many others have. The problem was never Lavine nor was it Derozan. It was always the both of them together. They do not complement each other in any way on the court and it lowers our ceiling when they are.
Lol how much time did this guy spend sifting through irrelevance to try and find something to fit his narrative? Kyrie and him are turds.
Is it possible for a player to be both under and over rated at the same time? That’s what it feels like with Zach. People are definitely ignoring his past stats and history, all this “oh, he’s a league average player” talk is straight nonsense. But his contract is pretty big for what he’s done, especially taking this year into account. He had a chance to step up and be a team leader, and he’s having a down year even considering the injuries. It really doesn’t help him that the team caught fire as soon as he went to the bench.
At this point I think you just trade Demar, Caruso and Drummond. Then hope Lavine and Vooch can reestablish some value next year

But I agree the Bulls need to be adding assets, not sending more out just to dump Zach (or any player)
Don’t just give him away, trade Derozan, Caruso, and Drummond. Then try to trade Zach in the offseason. Start over for the love of God!!
