Jordan Nwora declaring himself a Raptors fan makes trade even better for Toronto

“Not only does Nwora consider himself a
Raptors fan who saw his first taste of
NBA action during All-Star Weekend in 2016, but he claims he would have been at the championship parade in 2019 had he not been suiting up for Louisville at the time. It looks like Raptors fans have another RJ Barrett and Dalano Banton-esque story to root for this season.”

  1. If we get value for Brown and Nwora becomes a solid rotation piece, the Pascal trade is gonna look a *lot* different in a year.

As a Pacers fan, Nwora can flat out ball, i hope he kills it in Toronto

I’m rooting for Nwora to be legit, and he has had a nice start, but this is seriously a ridiculous comment. He was an end-of-bench player for Indy, who was a throw-in. We didn’t need to trade for him. He would have been available for a BAE deal in the summer, or maybe even a minimum deal.

The trade was still trash, and a second round pick who was getting 10 mpg off the Indy bench before the trade being a Raptor fan doesn’t change that at all.

  6. This makes alot more sense when you realize his dad was born in Nigeria (AKA Masai)
