[NBA Central] The Wizards may be willing to move Tyus Jones for multiple second-round picks, per @JakeLFischer

Thoughts on this? Should the pels make a move for a true PG here? seems like a steal of a price for the best AST/TO ratio in the league imo

  1. The issue is matching salaries. We would need to include either JV, Nance, Herb to match salaries and stay under the cap. For those thinking we can just throw multiple players to match we would then need to sign mid level players to fill out the roster.

I like Jones great back up but the salaries matching just forces us to have a big hole in the roster.

I think Tyus Jones would be great but we can’t match salaries like what’s been previously said.

No, he’s undersized and plays no defence, his salary is a problem and in the past he’s virtually unplayable in the playoffs, unfortunately people need to realise the FO isn’t trading or acquiring a ‘true point guard’ I would assume they see dyson as that in the future

  4. Where does Jones fit into the rotation? What does he actually bring to this team? At the end of the day our stars, Zion and BI, need to have the ball in their hands when the game matters most. Having a true point guard is pointless when your two best players are terrible off-ball. I’d rather bring CP3 in off the buyout market to lead the bench unit.

That is a fact that a team that has second round picks would be interested to know.

I don’t think the pels have even asked about tyus, I know it’s been reported we’ve asked about gafford, also I’ve seen they want a first for tyus not second round picks
