As if it just happened overnight… truth is JK needed to play 30min a game starting LAST YEAR
And he would have looked better sooner if he actually had been giving him more minutes to develop. Inexcusable how he’s treated moody and him the last couple of years.
Anyone else kinda dreading this revisionist history part of the show where Kuminga was always this dude but Kerr sabotaged him the whole time?
Steve Kerr never makes adjustments quickly but he always makes adjustments when they matter. Remember bringing Draymond off the bench in that 2022 run? It took a couple losses before Kerr was willing to do it but he did it in time to win the series and the championship. Looks like it’ll be the same this year with Kuminga’s minutes.
To be completely honest, I feel like Draymond has unlocked this latest elevation! JK was ready, Kerr wasn’t. Kerr was bullied into giving him more minutes and Dray came back and super-powered him 😂

Kerr deserves no credit. He played lamb et al over JK last year. Even this year JK was being benched until JK forced his hand by saying play me or trade me.
We still would’ve been 1st seed if Kuminga played the season from the start
It only took Kuminga calling Kerr out publicly for him to really start getting a chance
he is now growing and probably the best player on this
