@Toronto Raptors

This lineup had so much potential.

Shame it didn’t work out.

  1. The first dude just admitted he didn’t want to support the younger players, which was visible on court for that entire 2 years, all the talk about having a different road to the NBA turned out to be very real

He had a good 2 years of choices to make a difference, and chose not to, not much anyone can do about that

It’s sad, because the Raptors supported those low draft pick and undrafted players more than most teams would, maybe all teams, and who had mentorship and leadership under Lowry and Derozan and then Kawhi and Gasol and more

When it was time to return the favour to the new blood, they didn’t want to, you can’t make people do what they don’t want to do

Well it didn’t have a center which is why it didn’t work out. I actually enjoyed the 2021-22 season though.

  3. GawldDawlg

FVV was only worried about his money, it was never going to work

  4. who would have thought the bet on yourself guy would be a selfish player who only cared about himself

  5. TayOs1998

Ya but Harden really lost his touch and Embiid can’t stay healthy.

Only potential I see is Harden on the Sixers, shame it didn’t work out

Potential to be a perennial first round exit. That core has 2 playoff wins in the last 4 seasons. They accomplished nothing. Time to move on. No way we’re paying 40 mill a year for FVV and a max for Siakam just to be a first round exit

  8. Barnicus57

Potential to be a mid team for the next five years?

  9. Bluffmaster99

Scottie is not a centre and Trent is a 6th man on any winning team.

It only worked (somewhat) because we had a great coach

  11. It definitely is a playoff team. But it didn’t seem like anyone liked each other or no one liked Nurse. That plus Masai and co. put together one of the poorest bench units I’ve ever seen

It really didn’t, and wasn’t fun to watch. Absolute best case scenario was consistently losing in the play-in, while not having a watchable offense.

Hahahahaha!!!! Everyone here was moaning how Pascal is hindering Scottie’s progress, how he occupies the same floor space, how he needs to be traded…and now…. OHHH WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN.
