  1. Nurse unironically needs to give terq smith some real minutes. This team has a serious 3 point shooting problem. 27th in 3PA per 100 possessions, just ahead of the magic, pistons, and lakers

  2. Gonna see a lot more of this for the remainder of the season unless we pick up another shot creator this week.

  3. EndAnyone

Should have given Terq some minutes from House or Korkmaz. Would have had a better chance. Can’t have a team compete with only 1 volume 3P shooter in 2024.

  4. TheGhostOfAbe_

With a lineup like this I expect the offense to be bad. But good lord the defense tonight was next level atrocious. Open 3’s every time down the floor, no hustle, no rebounding. Everyone was constantly lost out there, just brutal to watch. If we’re not gonna defend then we may as well throw Terq Smith out there, at least he has some offensive skill.

Can I finally say Paul Reed isn’t good player on this sub? He’s not a good player, though he is better than the trainwreck that is Mo Bamba. Hopefully we can get away with small ball lineups with Roco and Batum when we run into Boston or New York in the playoffs.

This team desperately needs to get to the all star break before this gets any worse. They look physically and mentally exhausted. A trade would help but we need our starters back. Idk how Melton still gets shit on in the game threads when he would’ve been our 2nd best player by a country mile tonight, simply by virtue of being a solid rotational player.

  5. Steinburger_

We made 12 3’s as a team and Terq made 5. Mans had 41% of our teams 3’s could have used that shooting a little earlier in the game instead of Oubre building a goddamn house outta his bricks.

  6. EndAnyone

People here prob never missed Tobias and Melton this much in their lives lol.

  7. Daryl Morey is one of the most overrated GMs of all time.

  8. rexfloyd94

I know this was a loss as soon as the twitter account said it was Franklin’s birthday. Vile creature.

it would really be cool if someone of the starting line up played again i think that would be good!

  9. GirlWithGame

If I have to see 1 more minutes of Bamba, house, and kork I might lose my mind.

Smith can chuck 3s give him some run over them 3.

Harris and Melton being back so help a bit. I’d like to see what Morey is cooking up for trades I doubt he sits still. I’m awaiting the trade deadline.

We’re down lots of players and guys are failing to score, we also have a 3P shooting problem

Nurse should seriously consider setting aside his vet bias and try Terq and Ricky

Could really use their hunger to play and ability to score

  11. Gotta play Terquavion and Council during this run since we suck anyway. Semi process the rest of the year.

  12. FactSpewer

Do you think we lose to the C’s in 5 games this year or will it just be a clean sweep?

  13. ranchsauce13

I’ll let the Nets fans have this one, we swept them last season and they finally beat us down 4 starters. Congrats Brooklyn, hang the banner.

  14. averagebensimmons

I didn’t get to watch the game, but based on the boxscore it looks like Nurse wanted a participation award for everyone. Was there a lot of garbage minutes for the bench?

  15. Outside of Maxey this iteration of the team is significantly less fun to watch than the process sixers

  16. akgamestar

So is Bev still taking credit for being on a “top” team 🤡?

  17. MaxeytoEmbiid

In the NBA in 2024, there’s no reason Terq shouldn’t be your gunner. Enough of KJ Martin and Danuel House Jr and the likes.

  18. Status-Ability-6867

    2 questions from me:

why has the entire team been injured/sick for the last 2 months? its anecdotal, but it feels like we lose more games to “illness” than any team in the league.

if daryl doesnt make multiple moves before the deadline, is there any reason to watch this slop on a nightly basis besides maxey?

morey is going to need a 10/10 summer, because it feels like time is running out. he had the glenn excuse the last three years. he now has a smart coach, and our roster looks like dog poo, and most of the roster is on expiring contracts.

  19. CPTHoagie

Are we gonna get the fake mad fans who get really angry we didn’t play well missing 7/9 rotation players and 4/5 starters.

  20. Doobie_Howitzer

Honestly I thought that was going to go a lot worse lol

  21. ranchsauce13

Hey if the Bucks lose this day won’t be a total loss

  22. jorgelongo2

At least the Bucks suck. They might be the best matxhup available for us in the 1st round

  23. Just looked at the next ten games, outside of the wizards it’s looking dicey 🙃🙃🙃

  24. sunfistkid

Terq with 17 points in 9 mins. Hey now it’s not all garbage!

  25. ArroganceIsPotent

the extreme doomer in me is starting to think the embiid era is past it’s peak now. we had our chances

Being a Philadelphia sports fan is one of the worst decisions of my life
