Utah Active Again
The Jazz are active in the market, with Jordan Clarkson, Kelly Olynyk and Collin Sexton routinely described as available assets. Interestingly, the talks suggested by sources are not for future draft capital. The Jazz, sources say, called the Nets to inquire about Mikal Bridges, though they found the same impossibly high bar to clear in return.
Utah seems to be pursuing upgrades to the roster and not rebuilding moves.
Olynyk, in particular, is highly sought after in the market. He’s a backup center in a market in which everyone wants size help for the playoffs who can also shoot, pass and defend. Miami has shown interest in Olynyk in the past, though with their recent seven-game slide, one source said, “No one knows what the hell Miami is going to do in the next week, as much as we know what any team will do.”

My preferred of the Bridges for obvious reasons
It sounds like his asking price is too rich for anyone to really pull the trigger, but it sounds like Utah is really active.
Likely the “worst” player that I’d include Taylor.
Brice, Taylor, Collin, the 2025 Cavs, and Wolves firsts, and a 2029 Cavs firsts top 5 protected for Mikal, and Dinwiddie (Collin is better than Dinwiddie, so that adds value to that trade for the Nets, but they might not want him, as they already have Cam Thomas). They want 5 firsts, Brice, and Taylor can count as firsts. That trade likely wouldn’t happen, as apparently a few weeks ago the Rockets offered Jalen Green, but maybe Danny Ainge, and Jay-Z can trick the other Jay-Z’s favorite team front office to do that trade.
If we could keep Sexton it could work out. Something like George/Sexton/Bridges/Lauri/Kessler would be pretty neat if we can ship out Clarkson/Olynyk/Collins and 2 firsts or something. Dunno if it’s enough to get it done, but it’s a starting point.
