Glad someone said it…
Kawhi is absolutely right, but expecting your current starting center to actually defend is not realistic unfortunately. This message should be directed to Lawrence Frank more than anything.
The people who aren’t playing defense are just slow moving laterally. I don’t think that’s changing.
Stop sagging off shooters, Harden
Good for him. Glad he is becoming more vocal. I was at the game and I honestly thought both teams played well.
The defense was so locked in Boston but the team doesn’t play with that level of defensive intensity every night.
MVP, MVP, MVP!
He’s right. The scorers are basically winning the games. We had some moments with nice execution, and right now they are riding the wave. He knows they still have to get better. We are still controlling the ball well while getting a lot of points off assists, but you can tell we haven’t run a lot of sets.
It’s like they were changing up the plays every few games and settled into pick and roll and ball screens. Remember that weave play? The high-low pick and roll with a dump pass to the baseline cutter?
PG keeps getting beat off the dribble, Harden frequently sleeps on backdoor cuts, and Plumlee/Theis defensively is a layup line for the other team
The offense is just so next level, but I know they can turn it up defensively
he’s 100% correct, glad he mentioned it as that is how it seems (mainly with Harden and PG)
I wanna see pg and Mann take it up a notch definitely and for theis to be more of a stopper than a cone
Great attitude, this one sparks hope.
It is kinda nice to sleep walk through wins. We’ll be challenged soon enough
to be fair though…
most of the teams wish they can win off talent.
