Wemby is now shooting 40% on pull-up 3’s.

Wemby seems more comfortable doing step-backs than open Catch-and-Shoot 3s. Is it maybe a rhythm thing?

He does seem to get his feet set better when pulling up

Yeah side step left three has been Wemby’s go to. If you want to talk about a signature move that Wemby goes to, that has been his most common. His latest stretches of games he been shooting 40% – 50% so it heavily bumped his averages up. He has kept his 3 attempts around 4 to 5 which is not bad at all while the rest of his shot diet is in the paint. Also Paul Garcia as been covering the spurs since 2011 so… pretty credible lol.

It’s hilarious because in Europe it was actually the opposite. His pull up and step back three pointers were what drag his percentages into the dirt (He was shooting something like 19% on them) and his catch and shoot threes were actually solid

I think both him and Jeremy look like guys that may be overthink things a little bit on spot ups because both of them seem to shoot better when they throw a little junk into their game, Jeremy with his step back mid-range jumper, and Victor with the step factories.
