  1. Hardy rolling with the hot hands. You love to see it

    Also, fuck Bucks 44

  2. DraculaSpringsteen

Surprise 6 seed spoiler. We make it to the second round. Watch!

  3. Delta center crowd undefeated man, it’s such a huge advantage

  4. Minamus_Majesticus

Absolute electricity from the home crowd

Can’t believe we got Walker, and Key from the Gobert trade. Lauri, and Collin in the Mitchell trade. They’re the reason we won the game. Glad we traded Mitchell, and Gobert when we did

wtf the Jazz bumbled around and played like garbage for 3.75 games and then put together a near perfect 4th quarter.

I’ll take it though, that was a blast.

    GAME NOTES:

That was such a wild first quarter. We had 32 points, and shot 16 3 point attempts lol. I looked it up, the record for 3PA in a quarter is 20, and the franchise record is 18. But damn it felt like we were just chucking them up. We hit 7 of them, and went 2/5 from inside the arc the first quarter.

But an even more wild fourth quarter. We entered down 12, and won by 15 tf

What an incredible run we went on to come back from 19 down. Keyonte George, Jrodan Clarkson, Walker Kessler, and Kelly Olynyk helped steer us in the third and fourth quarters to come back to take the lead. It was really led by passing of Clarkson & Olynyk, but big defense moments by Kessler & big shot makes by Keyonte made this a game. Shoutout to the jazz fans who showed up to a Jazz home game on a Sunday. You all showed out, I imagine the energy was insane.

Another victory by committee tonight. 7 players in double figures tonight. Tip of the hat to our defense and our bench unit

Starting with Lauri Markkanen. He still shot good percentages, but it didn’t look easy tonight. He had Crowder, Giannis, or Portis on him all night, and all 3 of those guys are very chippy defenders. He finished with 21 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 turnovers on 8-15 from the field and 5-10 from 3. Kind of a quiet night from him.

Clarkson had himself a redemption arc in this game. The first 3 quarters he was dribbling way too much, and putting up some bad shots. However in the fourth quarter he changed it up and started passing, feeding Kessler on so many pick n roll drives. It felt like all of Kessler’s 4th quarter points came from Clarkson. [We saw this play happen over and over again in the fourth](https://x.com/JazzLead/status/1754340750668759334?s=20) Shooting wise, JC finished with 3-11 from the field, 0-4 from 3, 6-7 from the line for 12 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 1 turnover. He flipped a switch in that fourth quarter and it changed the pace of our offense. [Like look at this pass](https://x.com/utahjazz/status/1754340877605171576?s=20) and [this one](https://x.com/JazzLead/status/1754341693963583807?s=20). I love when JC is confident in his teammates and makes great reads.

Walker Kessler played such a pivotal role defensively on Giannis, and was running HARD to the rim the entire second half. He was rewarded with 11 points, 4-6 from the field, 3-4 from the line (improvement!!!), 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, and just 1 turnover and 3 fouls. I won’t lie, that first half was incredibly rough to watch. He was out of place, disrupting our offense, and wasn’t making an impact defensively. But similar to Clarkson’s turnaround, Kessler decided to take control in the second half with his defense and turned into Gobert defensively. Insane. [He had a good block on a very long Robin Lopez hook shot that was pretty crazy. The reach here to meet a hook shot at it’s apex is unreal](https://x.com/JazzLead/status/1754317008257319240?s=20) Also, 26 minutes played!!!

Keyonte George went CRAZY in the third and fourth quarter offensively. 7-13 from the field, 5-9 from 3, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 turnovers, 19 points. He hit back-to-back 3’s in the third from the corner ([here’s one](https://x.com/utahjazz/status/1754337024285540398?s=20) and [the other](https://x.com/JazzLead/status/1754336721079320734?s=20)) and in the middle of our 32-9 run he hit a big 3 and a [fastbreak dunk.](https://x.com/JazzLead/status/1754342799586271314?s=20) The thing that surprised me the most about his game tonight was his rebounding effort defensively. The Bucks are a long team, and he crashed the boards. His shooting was so confident as well. I think tonight was my favorite Keyonte performance of the season.

Kelly Olynyk with a masterclass tonight. 8 points on 2-5 shooting, 1-2 from 3, 3-4 from the line, but 7 rebounds (2 offensive), 6 assists, and 0 turnovers tonight. A team high +26 as well. He hit a clutch turnaround jumper as the shot clock expired to push our lead to 11 with 2 minutes left. Boler did a great call after he hit it, yelling “KO with the KO”. He is such a nuisance defensively, and so shifty with his passing. I know he’s probably going to be traded but nights like tonight help convince me that we need to keep him.

John Collins had a pretty solid game. Started off strong in the first and third quarters, finished with 15 points, 7-11 from the field, 1-4 from 3, 10 rebounds (3 offensive), 2 assists, 1 steal. He was a -9, but it’s mainly because Hardy rolled with the players that were hot, and Collins was outplayed defensively by Kessler. I still think it was a good game for Collins, the only negative mark was his 3 turnovers.

Simone had a quiet good game. Just 1-3 from 3, but 3-3 from inside the arc. He hit some tough layups and floaters. 4 rebounds, with 2 of those coming on the offensive side. 1 assist, 1 steal, 11 points. Decent game for Simone.

Sexton played a solid game. he was assessed a BS double tech on him & Beasley in the second quarter that kind of shifted the tides into Milwaukee’s favor, but he used that intensity to get into a rhythm offensively. 5-13, 3-7, 6-6 from the line, 19 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists. 4 turnovers which all looked like they got away from him, just unforced stuff.

That closing lineup of Keyonte/JC/Lauri/Olynyk/Kessler was absolutely killer. Kelly Olynyk and Walker Kessler outscored Milwaukee in the fourth 17 to 13 lmao. Major props to Hardy for riding the hot hand, and letting Kessler out of his doghouse

That second half was such a major shift compared to the first half.

Some positives of the night: Our comeback, Keyonte had a career game, Kessler had one of his best games of the season, 31 assists on 43 shots, 52 rebounds to 32 advantage, 55 to 14 bench advantage, 7 players in double figures tonight, held Dame to 12 points on 5-18 shooting, and lastly 38-9 run to close out the fourth quarter.

Some negatives of the night: turnovers, we lost 16 to 11. That’s about it.

I cannot overstate how fun that fourth quarter was. Will Hardy really redeemed himself after last game.

25-26!!! 2-0 against the BUCKS lol. We’ve beaten them by 16 & 15 in our matchups this year

  8. If JC could remember to pass consistently he’d be the goat, I swear

Crazy finish from the team, genuinely maybe the best basketball I’ve seen them play all season. Just completely clutched up and shut down everything from the Bucks in that last quarter, you love to see it

  9. FUCK YES LET’S GO TEAM WIN!! THATS OUR FURURE OUT THERE!!!!!!

  10. beastfromthefarweast

    HOLY SHIT WHAT A GAME

Also: Hope the loser Bucks fans talking shit in the game thread eat their heart out.

  11. yaboichazzeh

Where are all the “Will Hardy sucks” fanboys? Because that 4th Q was peak Hardy and I’m so excited to see more.

  12. KingOfTheWeast

I’m a bad fan and stopped watching at halftime. I am shocked

  13. Imagine if we were the reason Doc Rivers got fired again

  14. MtHoodMagic

I checked out of this game at half time cause I thought the jazz were returning to early season form… I am a fool!!

  15. sh0tgunben

Jazz stepped up their volume & tempo nd 4th, surprising b deers

  16. MegaAltarianite

TIL Bucks fans are just as whiny as Lakers fans. Only someone who didn’t watch that game could even fathom thinking the refs were in Utah’s favor.

  17. jordanpushed

Noticed some camaraderie between Keyonte and Olynyk in the fourth after Kelly scored. Makes me feel like that clip from the other night was overblown

  18. brosephsmith21

Man Clarkson is due for a big night from 3. OKC better watch out on Tuesday

  19. tesellate98

Hey, can anyone who watched explain why I see bucks fans complaining about the refs? Apparently we were being physical with Giannis (which I don’t see a problem with) and something about offensive fouls?

From what I can tell it seems like they think they didn’t get enough calls even though they had more free throws, which is kinda interesting so I’m curious.

  20. LevelMeaning8260

Olynyk fits so well in the line-ups with Kessler and Markkanen, he is probably our best pseudo SF
