[Stein] The 76ers, Lakers and Magic are among the teams known to possess interest in Lowry if he becomes an unrestricted free agent — with Orlando also in the mix as a team that has expressed exploratory trade interest in the former NBA championship-winning point guard as well.

> The Hornets, league sources say, continue to try to re-trade Kyle Lowry before Thursday’s 3 PM ET deadline after acquiring him from Miami in the Terry Rozier deal and are said to be having ongoing discussions with multiple teams.

> Lowry is projected to have considerable interest on the buyout market if no trade materializes and should he decide to seek a settlement of what’s left of his $29.7 million expiring contract from Charlotte to become a free agent. Why would we trade for him he’s making so much money.

  2. Lowry is straight garbage

Stop being lazy and get Murray

As a buyout, I dont mind it. It wouldnt hurt to add another vet presence on this team

Lowry makes no sense for this team. He’s a bad player now anyway but he can’t do anything that Orlando wants out of a guy at that position. This is nonsense

if it was just a vet min buyout to be here to mentor our young guards (Suggs and AB in particular) and not really play much i wouldnt really mind

like yeah on one hand FKL but on another he’s still a guy thats won a ring being an important piece of that team and that’s not something you could say about literally anyone else on the Magic right now

I’d be fine trading cash considerations, er, a second round pick for him. No assets, nothing more.

  7. He’s one of my least favorite player but he can be a good locker room guy.

We’ll trade y’all TJ if you need a serviceable point.. but what can we get in return?

Hopefully this is conflation. I can see us being interesting in him as a buy out candidate, extra depth for a playoff run. But trading for his big ass expiring contract? That’s Fultz + Isaac or WCJ or Harris, none of which really makes any sense.

I would imagine this is lost in translation. Magic may have been interested in taking on his salary and a pick.

Can’t see why we would actually want the player? He seemed washed on the Heat.

This seems like something that would break the multiverse.

I’m conflicted with Lowry. Feel like he could help the team, but he’s a walking injury.

Let’s go after an aging Lowry vs Murray or Tyus rofl

For once, I’m ok with the Lakers getting the upper hand over us.

I think they should pass on him and get Steph on a vet minimum instead
