Passing is okay. But u can’t dribble out half of the remaining clock time at the top of the key first. In order to get the other guys open you have to be a threat.
Put the ball on the ground, attack the rim, get fouled, or attract a double, then pass to an open shooter like Gary.

Scottie decided to pass before he got on the floor and saw the defense lmao. The play was a pick n roll with an opportunity for scottie to get downhill…he didnt do that. He got the screen and stood there before tossing a grenade to gary

People are gonna deny that the play wasn’t for Gary and that it’s Scottie’s fault for dribbling too much. But even if he wasn’t supposed to pass to Gary there, why is Gary setting a screen on him to allow Lu Dort (their best defender) to switch onto Scottie?
Just questionable play-calling the whole crunch time. Doesn’t excuse Scottie’s lack of effort put damn we gotta put our franchise guy in positions to succeed.

It’s not about the last shot. It’s about the fact that Scottie was passive on offense for like the last 3mins of the 4th on top of the 2 OTs.
