Record is just as good or bad to some people as some of the other players who are currently on the allstar team and are starters and the Hawks either have a better record than them or are have just as bad or good of a record we can even

Go look at Golden State amongst some others now we can get past that part the other part is the fact that I’m curious to know what they believe whether that’s the people that are writing this whether this is the coaches themselves regardless of whether you like him or

He’s you know disliked by other people whatever the case may be if we’re throwing that out of the window and you have an open open mind what are the numbers that Trey young has to have regardless of anybody liking him or not does that have to be a 50 points per

Game on average 100 points per game on average with 35 assists per night what does that number have to look like for people to say you know what we don’t like him I don’t like him they don’t like him but he has to be at least a

Like like like what what is the number like that that’s the only thing I’m trying to figure out here because clearly 30 and 10 you know uh for fifth you know fifth most in tie for fifth most in NBA history and we can go list

Down all the numbers I mean this year is better than last year and last year almost seemed kind of Blasphemous but you know what this year and last year both had in common mutually was that the record was not good I think the most disappointing part to all this I think I

Heard Dominique say this on the broadcast tonight um probably the most disappointing part of all of this is that his this is probably his best overall allaround game type of season because we don’t have he don’t play defense no more as a conversation we not

Doing none of that so like I think that there’s so many different other elements and things like that that you have to factor in and he’s starting to check boxes and still getting snubbed and I think that’s where it becomes somewhat civilized agreed and I know we got to

Run toan but I got to ask you this question real quick before we wrap because you start talking about it them becoming reputation you start talking about it becoming a narrative that he just can’t undo or at least hasn’t been able to undo so far in his career and

You start thinking about his legacy when you get into a player sixth League or the seventh league in the year he becomes one of those season veterans not just a veteran as in have been in the league two or three years so with that in mind in the absence of a championship

Thus far and let’s just say we’re not speaking negativity into being but let’s just say if that Championship never kind of comes or Never Comes during his years with the Hogs then making the Hall of Fame that’s your highest Accolade that individual Accolade but the way you get

That in addition to what he did during his time in Oklahoma is what you do in the league so if you can’t stack Allstar nods and you can’t stack NBA all Pros therefore then you know how do you get there like if your legacy is important

That kind of marinate a little bit um but this kind of very much felt like a do it for try type of game a little bit kind of had some of that feel to it and it was it was it was very much a a team

Win um 21 points on 17 you know Phoenix turnovers I think um told a lot about it and it just it’s it’s I think we’re undervaluing some of these wins a little bit I don’t want to go crazy and treat it like they won a championship because

They didn’t but they have their chance now to go and um you know get on a four game winning streak for the first time this season and they didn’t just beat No Scrubs like they beat you know they they they you you you’re talking about backto back wins against two of the best

Players that this team has ever seen I’m sorry that game has ever seen with LeBron and KD so and they did it with their defense and they did it together as a unit and dare I say that this th this this little whatever it is that most people have been kind of feeling

Know over seen or whatnot but for sure for sure but I you know I also think that um the Hawks not being able to get out into transition nearly as much and take advantage of Phoenix maybe not necessarily getting back but knowing that Phoenix is a team that you

Know turnovers can kind of be a thorn in their side A lot of times and sometimes they are kind of vulnerable to um kind of overlooking teams and whether they did or didn’t Overlook the Hawks and what the the Hawks have done recently or not that’s their fault for not taking

Bit better because a lot of times they were playing on the road the way I feel like they should have been playing at home sometimes um so it definitely feels better but I mean I don’t know if this is a matter of playing with house money

Or if it’s just kind of like you know you don’t have as much to risk versus the other team or all the pressures kind of on those West Coast teams that are better than the Hawks are um you’re two and 0 so far and I’m not sure that

Versus both of these teams that they’ve played in the last two days that anybody would have given them last two games that anybody would have said we’ll be going into the Warriors game um you know two and 0 against those other teams so that’s a feel good within itself but it

Is a free flowing style I think they have to continue to do that continue to keep the turnovers down I think I looked up at the half and they had like two turnovers or something like that they finished with 10 that’s still a very low number very good number yeah yeah I mean

DeAndre play but in the event that there’s ever a situation where you don’t have DeAndre and then you don’t have you know sadik that just kind of concerns me a little bit because it doesn’t look like they’re russan you know I don’t know how fast they’re rushing DeAndre to

Get back but we won’t worry about the things that you know we can’t control as of right now just try to focus in on going in there and getting a w and look at the Golden State Warriors as another you know team that you want to try to

Prove that you know not about being more Superior than them but just getting a win against a team that is also struggling more than the Atlanta Hawks to be honest right and honestly it could be it’s another awesome win that they could potentially have because this Warriors

Team they are three and two in their last five games but their two losses came by a com combination of two points literally they lost against the Kings by a point dropped one in double O overtime to the Lakers by a point then a couple dubs but we know that dub before the

Losses and the wins they got that dub and smoked the hawk so I feel like some get back might be in the air and it’s gonna be a really interesting night at State Farm Arena on Saturday and I think the other thing is this when you look at

Where the Hawks are and kind of how they’re stacking wins you’re right you and I took a look at it from a gauntlet perspective right we looked across the entire six-game home stand stand and kind of said hey where in this six-game home stand can you possibly get three

Wins because hey you walk away from it with a record of 500 going against these quality teams that’s a good look they got two games left they already have three wins right so I think now they’re playing and I don’t want to say this like it’s a negative or like they should
