Adrian Wojnarowski on Bulls: ‘If they’re going to trade Alex Caruso, they want a lot for him, like an OG Anunoby-type deal as what’s been described to me.’ The Knicks traded RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, and a 2024 second-round pick to the Raptors for Anunoby.

If there were ever a time for the Bulls to trade Caruso, it feels like it’s now. Career high in points per game, shooting 40% from three, has played 43 out of 50 games so far this season, and of course still very elite on defense and brings effort like not many other players do.

Seems like a perfect time to sell high, so accordingly the Bulls will probably ask for something unrealistic and miss a trade window once again

I mean as much as I’d love it, I don’t even think it’s feasible. Unless you’re hoping to get two rookie scale players we’d have to throw in another one of our “core” players to make the money work

Plz trade him his value will plummet next yr. Stop making same mistake did with lavine.

yeah the bulls FO is clueless. Honestly just shut the franchise down. NBC Sports Chicago and just re-air Bulls games form the 90s for eternity.

I don’t see how CHI could land such a big haul considering his small salary. What’s realistic?

  6. The best time to have a fire sale was last deadline. The second best was last offseason. At this point we’re fucked but it’s still necessary. The only silver lining now is that AC and Drummond’s value is at its peak. AC is the perfect piece for basically any contender. Will hurt to see him go but now is the time to at least salvage something

I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t want us to trade AC lol

Ha I can’t wait to get nothing of value for any of our assets, while still failing to make the play-in. Hate this team

  9. If we dont trade him I can almost guarantee his value is going to drop-off a good amount next year and/or he’ll be consistently injured

And then people on here will be like “hindsight is 20-20 you can’t blame AK”

What in the absolute fuck is this organizations deal. Demar is old and beginning to show it. Vuc sucks. Zach is hurt and his trade value is shit and who possibly knows where his career is going. Pat has an injury that may be nothing too bad, but may also keep him out for like a full year or more. This is not a team that is competing now or will be in the even somewhat near future.

Coby looks real solid, not superstar good but if he maintains then star good. Ayo is a really nice role player, nothing wrong with that. Julian Phillips may be something, but nothing great anytime soon. Dalen will never be anything special.

This is not a team that needs a defensive stopper. They need to pull the rip cord and start trying to get anything they can of value. I’d love to get something incredible for ac, but you have to take what you can get. And to the people who are ok waiting, what if he needs foot surgery or has a bone edema? The front office can’t keep waiting on things then watching all of their value plummet.

  11. Fuck this organization. They won’t do shit this trade deadline and they will all of their assets depreciate like they did with Lavine.
