Grants been terrible this year so they can enjoy that if it happens

I know Grant hasn’t worked out for the Mavericks, but I think he’d do well playing on a team with Giannis and Brook Lopez. Which would be annoying for us.

Would add even more juice to a potential Celtics Bucks playoff series though

You can feel how desperate the Bucks are to get any decent defender

Maybe they want someone who can fill the minutes where Lopez gets played off the floor without getting abused in the post? Can’t imagine why they’d be doing this unless they’re looking at the move as acquiring a backup big.

Not a bad fit when he’d be getting played with Giannis. Grant always looked better when he had Timelord waiting on the weak side to erase anything that Grant was too small to contest. The fit with Giannis is even better because Giannis doesn’t come with all the question marks around injuries that limited how much Timelord could be out there to cover for Grant.

Obviously Grant is a bad perimeter defender if he’s deployed as a wing, but he’s a very good perimeter defender if you shift the point of comparison to bigs. He just can’t be played that way without someone like Giannis to add some rim protection.

If we see them, just start each game with a double tech

I support this, Portis is a much bigger problem than Grant.

  7. I feel like Portis always hits big shots against us, so I wouldn’t hate if the Bucks did that

there’s literally no chance this happens lol but whatever both guys aren’t playing very good ball

I’d love to have portis! Why can’t Boston work out something?

Brad converted Grant into a $6.3m TPE which might net us Kelly Jelly or Drummond and Torrey Craig

    It’s so nice having a competent GM/FO

I like Grant a lot but not sure this really does much for them. Bobby is a solid player

This is not how you show Jrue that you’re over him

damn i have tickets to the Mavs game. i want to see Grant, not Portis 🙁

If Portis’ production is off, maybe that’s a consequence of adding Dame’s ball dominance?

He was great with Jrue and Middleton.

That seems like fairly even value, the trade could help the Bucks with defense. Portis is a better rebounder and all-around offensive player than Williams, but that seems like a hat on a hat.

Bucks seem desperate and need someone to play defense

Seems like a bad trade on paper for Dallas as Grant is younger with more upside but they’ve both been ass this season

  18. Bucks are still haunted by Grant’s 27 in game 7

In their eyes he’s Michael Jordan 😅

I guess best case scenario for the Bucks here is to use Grant as the four next to Giannis at the five? That’s a lineup I think Doc wants to explore but they don’t have anyone who can play as a small ball forward right now (Middleton to slow and small, same for Jae).

Still feels like a very desperate move from the Bucks

What do they say about staying silent when your opponent is making a mistake
