Fred Vanvleet out with a left abductor strain

Likely looking at 2 weeks minimum. Time for Amen to go to work

Also wouldn’t be shocked if this increases the likelihood of a Brogdon trade. Team is considerably worse without FVV, and it’s a lot to ask a rookie PG to will us to a play-in spot if Fred misses a decent amount of time (past all-break or so).

I’ve had this exact strain (in my right leg) and it fucking sucked, hope Fred has an easy recovery

Alright. Time to see what Amen can do as starting PG.

Excited to see Amen get more PG time. He’s been really good lately

Also this is probably why Fred has sucked the last month

More Amen minutes is fine with me! Of course wishing Fred the best, but trying to look at the upside here hahaha

Mmmm that’s probably it for the play in

  7. I actually see them running Jalen Green at point with Holiday effectively the two guard. Seems like the coaches have been pushing for Green to take more of that role more so than having Holiday, and leave Thompson to still run with the second unit. Maybe more Tate but I feel like they really like his defense although these days I don’t think he can play that way for starters minutes.

Not gonna lie, I have court-side, half-court seats to the game in Indy….

And I’d rather see the young guns, personally.

Can’t wait for people to start bitching once they notice the difference of not having FVV in the rotation. All those “Fred is trash” andys are about to get a rude awakening.

This is not good news. We depend on FVV to make sound decisions on the court and help our young core stay focused off the court when preparing for a game.

I don’t know who, but I hope someone can step up because we’ve got games to win.
