Getting worried very worried about our injuries atm

  2. howdy_goy

Gotta love guys on the Knicks beat having literally zero insight into anything important i.e. OG’s injury

  3. staymelooo

Injuries tend to happen when the coach is playing dudes insane minutes.. who knew

  4. knowtoriusMAC

It is against Memphis. Not to look past an opponent but if someone isn’t 100%, they shouldn’t play a game like that.

I’m a big fan of the lack of transparency that Leon Rose gives concerning acquisitions and team trajectory and all that… I like the fact that he’s tight lipped and doesn’t hold press conferences…

… However, I am **not** a big fan of the lack of transparency when it comes to current players injury statuses. Our front office gives vague, bullshit insight into them. That’s something I wish would change… Do we even know the results of randle’s MRI? We all knew he had a dislocated shoulder but we were waiting on soft tissue injury status… A tear or something which would require surgery. At this point they know. Why don’t we?

Calm…down…it’s the start of February. Take the missed games now and not start of April. We still here.

wether this is a serious injury or they’re being overly cautious – this is putting way too much of a load on brunson. this team can’t function on offense with so many players out and it puts everything on JB to play 40 mins and go nuclear. it doesn’t help that the knicks aren’t transparent at all about the injury

  8. PluvioPurple

Maybe Brunson should rest this game. Save his legs for Mavs and Pacers.

  9. Methamine

its fine. better rest it whatever it is than limp along and exacerbate it further towards the end of the season/playoff time

It’s only been a week, although I know it feels longer. When I tweaked my elbow it took me a couple weeks at least to feel better, although I’m sure OG is getting much better treatment than the ice packs I had

  11. datatadata

Tbh I would rather have OG miss some games now vs in early April

Friends, its the last game before the All-Star break. It would have been much more surprising if the Knicks medical staff had rushed these players back before. The fact that they were out against the Lakers, you could have predicted this. In fact, Kudos for them announcing this earlier rather than later for fans going to the game.

  13. This has to be a serious infection or something.

  14. No_Buddy_

I’m hoping they’ve decided to just hold some of these guys out until after the all star break so they get the free extra time to recover.

  15. I mean it’s just Memphis I guess. But still concerning. Of course this gonna be a trap game now.

  16. Sparrow_Wilson

This is more annoying than worrying. Neither of those injuries are long-term so they’ll be back soon enough, just annoying they’re not back already

While the lack of information is discomforting, this FO has been big picture from the start.

We are just off a 9 game winning streak despite missing Randle, OG, and Grimes at different points.

They’re prob using the info from these depleted games: to better inform who is the right player to acquire, and to see what happens closer to the deadline. It sucks as a fan but it is what it is.
    Trust the FO.

Doesn’t feel great to see them both ruled out over 24 hours before the game. Especially when the OG injury is basically a mystery at this point. Having said that, I’d rather them rest a bit right now then get any worse, and the Grizzlies have been so injury hit that it hopefully won’t matter too much not having them out there.

  19. JNerdGaming

not sure where theyre getting this from but if its true its very concerning. notwithstanding, we can still beat the grizzlies with the lakers roster.

  20. At this point, I kinda feel like we should just keep him out until the all-star break

  21. velocissimo

Damn man I’ve honestly really wanted to see how he operates on this team without Randle

  22. Check out OGs career. Dude rarely plays a full season.

  23. Blackbolt113

I’m more worried about Brunson He takes a beating every game. I’m against load management, but cmon. Good thing Thibs isn’t coaching the All Star game. He’d play Brunson 40 minutes.

  24. jgbluejay

Brunson about to disintegrate after carrying this team so much
