Coach you guys came out and threw the first punch looked really good early what did you think about your start oh it was great it was great it was important for us um we talked about how poorly we started the last game against Great teams you just can’t
Have those type of starts especially on the road and I thought our guys had great carryover um coming out of that locker room and just going out and fighting and scrapping you know um and laying on the line so I was very happy with our start
And I thought we played as as good of a first half is as you could play he shot it well um a lot of good things and da tonight what you think of his performance yeah da was focused from the very start you know he was great the
Whole game you know he gave us the the scoring punch that we need I thought he was good on the glass um I thought defensively you know he was he was he was sound the whole night as well so good bounce back game uh for him oh that second half obviously one
For 13 I mean just ch up to bad second half shooting yeah yeah I mean we got some pretty good looks you know just couldn’t make you go one for 13 from the three against a team and they they’re getting some momentum makes it tough makes it tough
Um I thought we did a better job in the second half uh the one the one area we struggled at in the first half was we just couldn’t keep them off the glass you know um the offensive rebounds really hurt us did a better job in the second half of just finishing
Great defensive possessions um created some opportunities just couldn’t make just couldn’t make shots and had some really nice passes in that game too you know Finding da you know that one you know horn play you guys had found kind of H another one kind of late in the second
Half I mean I I asked you already about it before but their connection you know it seemed like they were really kind of feeling each other yeah I’m telling you those two are they’re they’re they’re starting to get some real uh some real chemistry you know between the two um
Most teams are going to play Ant you know and these really really aggressive coverages and ants excuse me da is really good in that pocket area you know whether he’s catching it and scoring or even making decisions making passes um I’ve been impressed with how he he’s starting to pick the defenses apart
Too uh Scoot a little bit of a tough night shooting but I mean he finished with nine assists uh what do you like about or did you like about his decision making I love everything about scoop’s game uh tonight you know obviously he struggled from the field but he’s so
Much more than that you know you look at him get nine assists eight rebounds um toughness that he plays with uh the fire that he plays with the pace that he plays with I thought it it opened up the game for us tonight so um yeah he he’s
Going to be the type of player that it doesn’t even matter what his field goal what what it looks like he could have been eight for 16 or three for 16 his floor game his defensive he can do so much you know so I love Scoops game
Tonight and Chris Mur in the starting spot what you think yeah I thought he did a good job I thought he did a good job like I said Chris is uh he just plays right you know he plays the right way um he does the right things he crashes the offensive glass defensive
Glass he doesn’t miss many very many assignments um so I thought he I thought he did a good job um with his opportunity
