fyi, in french, when the journalist asked him about his ankle injury, wemby insists on the fact that he was never injured and this minute restriction is only to be safe and reduce inflammation. also another journalist asks him about him playing 44 matches in 101 days compared to 46 in 265 days in France, and how does he feel about that. wemby feels fine coz of all the preparation done with the staff (took the time to adapt), on his body and mentally (which was the hardest part coz it s a daily battle with the best/most competitive players in the world). he has many people looking after him, physios, nutritionists etc and he really appreciates the amount of techniques applied regurlarly and consistently to help his body and the recovery. good questions from the frenchies for once LOL. i wish they d be as good when they speak to pop 😉 also at the end, despite the up and down games, he s happy coz he feels he has improved a bit each game and he can recognise situations better and faster and has adapted to his team well at that stage
