In 2021 and a big reason for that was because of this guy right here Lonzo ball 13 points a game five rebounds assists shooting incredibly efficient from downtown and from the field and obviously we know the Bulls you know the last two and a half Seasons without Lonzo have been an absolute dumpster

Fire so I don’t think we can undervalue or underappreciate his overall impact he has on the game of basketball and that’s why I do think if I had to choose a point guard of the future I know he’s coming off this major knee reconstruction and we don’t even know if

He will be the same guy but in those videos that I kind of teased at the beginning of today’s show his jump shot looks good he looks healthy he’s still getting that very solid base that we want in his jump shot and I think he should be the point guard of the future

Mainly because in terms of what I would want if I if I was a GM and let’s just go 2K style here real quick if I had to choose what a prototypical point guard would be in the modern day NBA give me a guy like Lonzo 6’6 can guard one through

Backourt of the future any day of the week and also a guy like Patrick Williams a guy like I dumo like you really got four guys here that I think all play basketball the right way all contribute to winning and these four guys you know get rid of everybody else

Build around these four you know obviously I’d like to keep a guy like Caruso as well and we’ll touch on him later on in today’s show but I think these four guys got to be Untouchable for me as it stands right now and you know just nothing but love for Lonzo

Ball um you know it really is one of the more sad stories in the NBA and you know especially as Bulls fans because I love watching Lonzo ball back at UCLA man he was so much fun to watch that battle he had against dearen Fox and Malik monk

When it was UCLA vers Kentucky in the sweet 16 that was one of the best college basketball games I ever watched but what in terms of what he had to overcome and just his overall you know love for the game of basketball he has because if you guys remember he came

Into the league his jump shot started right here and he had like a little push shot now he squares his shoulders he’s got a nice base and he goes a little up and down and that’s why he was shooting 42% from downtown you know his one

Season with the bulls just speaks to his work ethic he kind of shut out the noise of his dad cuz his dad painted a huge Target on his back and just overall the way he plays the game he’s an extremely intelligent player cares about defense
