The problem I see with Gil's argument against Doc is that no one knows exactly what Doc was consulting Adrian on. We're making assumptions that Doc was telling Adrian this or that and Adrian followed everything to a T and then he was fired. I have yet to hear a compelling argument that definitively proves that Doc gave Adrian bad advice that caused the inconsistencies with the Bucks. For all anyone knows, Doc gave Adrian a ton of great advice and Adrian just ignored it. Maybe the front office knows about what Doc was telling Adrian and took issue with him not listening. We'll never know until someone comes out and has proof of what happened.

I think there is a element that is missing from the discussion. Did not Portis complain and had the respect and support of the assistant coaches. I believe that should be considered and Rivers took advantage of this issue. If you look at the guys that are playing Dames time is cut short for as guy that ahs no experience compared to dame, Rivers is going to screw up this team and If I was Dame I would opt out next season if Doc is the coach.

I think that if Doc doesn't have enough games coached, then he shouldn't be allowed to coach the All Star game. Especially since the players have to play enough games to win season awards. I think that the third place team should get the nod.
