I like defense and we got to be a lot better you know we got to be a lot better defensively um especially closing the games I mean I know Trey you know the end of the game was going to you know try to take over and play fast and

Get to the free throw line but we just had a lot of you know miscommunications gave up some threes when we wasn’t supposed to and um just not playing through the game and so we got to be better you know at closing the games um

With that being said um this is a hell of a trip for us you know um to go six and one against um the caliber teams we played on this trip um you know coming into it like we knew it was going to be a tough battle

But I give these guys credit you know um we stuck with it you know we got down in some games early continue to keep fighting and um like I said just a total team effort you know everyone contributed um on the offensive end but you know defensively we got to get back

Home and and really start locking in defensively and being better um cuz we are better than that and I don’t know if it’s fatigue and tired and you know guys are playing a lot of minutes played a lot of games seven games in 11 days um

So I give them a little bit a little bit of the benefit of Doubt with that but you know we got to be better and just you know sharper I mean G only get coule get tomorrow yeah that’s not right that’s not fair but you know it is what it is

Yeah so I mean when you know that I mean bodies might be tired but you know how much how much can you get guys to be more prepared like it’s EAS to say going reduce ration how do you get stay locked in yeah I think they’re locked in

Mentally I mean it could be some fatigue but we just got to be better you know we got to be sharper and um we know we’re going to be able to score the basketball because we’re very talented and so um defensively that’s what we got to hang

Our hat on if we want to you know go deep into the playoffs and be an elite team and we’ve done it we’ve shown glimpses um but we had some slippage on this road trip you know and so we we got to get back home clean our stuff up and

And be better on the defensive end you know so um you know I just you know just got to be a little better defensively team as well yeah I mean for sure they understand like it’s nothing scheme wise or nothing they don’t know we should do like they know what we need

To do and what we should do and um just times we’re not doing it so we got to be better if we want to win at a high level um know we can win regular season games you know cuz we’re talented but you know defensively what we got to hang our hat

On we got have that mindset every single night and um I thought we did early on in that first quarter but we started scoring so easy kind of let our guard down defensively and um they were able to get into offensive Rhythm shoot 60% from end of the long

Trip back to Second back to back that number Sur you know what you know our training camp was was great you know we um we were built for these moments like seven games 11 days and um playing hard hard and getting through it our training camp

Was so hard and these guys went through it and they wanted a hard training camp and so um their bodies trained for it you know like I said it could be a little mental because it’s you know we’re going home we’ve been on the road

For 13 days um and like I it was a huge win like you know Atlanta’s been playing great one for in a row you know beat Lakers Golden State uh Phoenix you know so they’ve been playing some good basketball and so to come in and get

This win was huge but I just want us to you know be better defensively and you have that mindset when we get back home continues his strong right after of the player of the month yeah I mean he’s been huge for us all year you know and the addition of

James James is Big you know Russell B was big PG playing what he’s playing through um all those guys were huge for us you know and so it was a total team win guys off the bench played great um so like it’s a team we have constructed

Like we we have a lot of talent um we can do a lot lot of different things we can play a lot of different lineups we can play Big we can play small and um just continue to keep getting better every day and just you know defensively just Happ that mindset mindset every

Night you 43 43 points in the board quarter I heard you concerned with the defense there but uh seven turnovers coming on that who had 43 points did they scor 4 yeah we scored 4 I thought you talking about us yeah yeah yeah they scored 43

Points you know like I said we we can’t give that up you know even though they’ve been scoring at a high at a high clip you know just some some things that we just made some mistakes and we wern’t really you know locked in defensively you know stuff that we’re usually better

At and so it could be a sign of fatigue so I give him a pass with that you know but to come out and still win the game was was huge for us and so you know 43 points is just too much in any quarter let you know not counting the fourth

Quarter when it’s winning time you know so we got to be better can you compliment them on the on the seven turnovers thought that was pretty impressive you think who had seven turnover seven turnover well seven but eight we had a violation but yeah seven turn taking care of the basketball has

Always been a big thing for us if we take care of the ball like we’re too good offensively to turn it over so if we’re getting shots on goal you know we’re going to we’re going to play pretty pretty good and so we just got to

Be be locked in we took care of that the offensive end we’ve getting we’re getting better we’re understand our reads we’re getting better with our SPAC and and now we got to get our defense back going thanks
