And what he sees as the primary issues for the J transition for sure I think the fixable part of that comes down to our effort getting back not stabbing in the back court and then around the basket being more willing to sacrifice our bodies using verticality taking
Charges you know that’s the number one area the the second piece is is our team rebounding has really slipped there’s a variety of reasons some of it is you know the the size and physicality around the basket at times needs to be be elevated the second part is I don’t
Think that our perimeter players done a very good job tracking down long rebounds lately I think we have too many possessions where guys are either contesting shots and sort of drifting out towards half court or we have too many people gravitating towards the charge Circle when jump shots are taken
And we’ve given up a lot of long rebounds those two areas for me are the most concerning those are the two areas that we’ve talked about the most the the hard part is they’re not necessarily schematic things two things here what he said one is that um getting back on
Defense which means sometimes our players are coasting and and not really busting their butt to get back into the paint so they can so they can defend the paint the other is that the rebounding the jazs are still third and offensive rebounding but for a long time they were
Number one and and so those long rebounds that the J that the Jazz were getting the three-point shot that falls back to the three three point up to the free throw line that’s where he’s talking about they were struggling up and I think Ron as offense has risen up
