The Newest NBA Trade Rumors Are INSANE…

NBA trade rumors are at their absolute Peak right now and that includes some very very weird ones and when I say weird I don’t even mean like this doesn’t make any sense this could never happen these are things that like could happen but it’s just weird that it’s

Even a conversation it’s weird that it’s even thrown out there it’s weird that it’s even a rumor in the first place and honestly a lot of these are pretty funny as well at least I find them really really funny first and foremost this has to be discussed um they were trade RS

Involving LeBron over the last couple of days um rumors is probably the best way to put it I mean there’s like obscure Twitter accounts talking about the possibility of LeBron getting traded LeBron tweeting weird Emoji stuff randomly sitting out of games and if you really wanted to get to the point of oh

LeBron trade makes sense for the Lakers it’s actually not that hard to get to that line of thinking he obviously is still very very good but old going to be a free agent um uncertainty in terms of his future with the team and he’s going to kind of always be pushing buttons

Behind the scenes for this team he’s always going to be pushing for them to make more moves it’s always going to be uncomfortable for the role players on the team that constantly feel like they’re going to get traded and if you could get some value out of LeBron to

Potentially add to next year’s team and of course keep Anthony Davis in all of that theoretically um yeah you could get there you could certainly make an argument now um there’s no indication that LeBron has requested a trade and there’s very little indication that the Lakers have considered this at all both

LeBron Rich Paul because come out and said he’s not going to trade it it’s not happening they have an as for trade which is fine um but this had to be mentioned this was just a very very weird situation and again I think you could talk yourself into it as like a

Decent idea if you’re the Lakers um but this is not a video game and LeBron does not get traded it’s not how it works technically he did get traded once um when he went to Miami but that was more of a logistical thing um it just doesn’t

Happen unless he asks for it to happen um it doesn’t so the kind of season Lakers are having this year is something that they’re going to probably continue to experience over the next couple years assuming LeBron is still on the team and I’m assuming LeBron is still going to be

On the team another rumor we have here um this like never happens the Nets had an opportunity reportedly to get some of their own picks back from Houston that they traded to Houston in the James Hardon trade and teams getting their own picks back is very very rare we talked

About the possibility of Deon Murr um going to San Antonio and Atlanta getting a pick or two back that they traded away for jonay Murray in the first place um teams trading stuff so that the other team will adjust the protections on a particular pick that’s not super common

But that does happen but this specific situation of Houston wants male Bridges male Bridges is someone that has a lot of value to Brooklyn and Houston holds the Nets future first round picks for the next handful of years because of the James Harden trade including this season

By the way which is a big reason why the Nets haven’t really chosen to kind of break things down and and move on from this core and this is just an opportunity that never comes up and this idea of trading Mel Bridges specifically for the Houston pics has created this

Interesting little thought experiment within you know kind of some of the NBA Community as released to the Nets because on one hand it’s like of course you do this like you can actually rebuild and reset the team you can trade away stuff which right now they can

Trade some stuff but they can’t trade like a lot of stuff because then they’re just going to be giving away a potential top five pick and yes a weak draft class to who’s in this upcoming season but like generally speaking teams don’t like to bottom out when they don’t have

Access to their own first round pick and a as some people put it get out of jail free card on the James Harden trade and giving up Miguel Bridges who’s been good but not great this year is something that theoretically makes sense and for Houston by the way that would be an

Awesome addition for them and this Net’s situation in terms of trading Mel Bridges this is the most advantageous Mel Bridges trade they could possibly make getting their own picks back because those picks are more valuable to them than any other picks around the league and conversely for Houston this

Is probably the best value they can get out of these nets picks because those picks are not as valuable to any other team as they are to the Nets now the rumor coming along with this possibility of Houston and Brooklyn talking about this trade back and forth is the Nets

Have said no the Nets have said no on any Mel Bridges trade they’ve said no not only to the Houston thing but they like barely spoke about it they’re like no we’re not even considering this which on one hand is like okay really strong indication they want to keep Mel Bridges

On the other hand for a couple years running now we have heard the Nets aren’t trading Kevin Durant the Nets aren’t trading Kevin Durant the Nets aren’t trading Kevin Durant oh just kidding all of a sudden Kevin rant’s going to Phoenix uh same thing with James Harden going to Houston they

Weren’t trading him they weren’t trading him they weren’t trading oh just kidding James Harden is now in Philadelphia and so I’m not saying that it’s going to happen but if there was a male Bridges deal that made sense for Brook that they would actually do with the deadline it

Is more than likely the one where they get their picks back from Houston and this is a team and an organization with a history of not really revealing what their plans are and kind of publicly saying we will not do something and then changing that up later as a way to try

And gain some leverage on the other team so that’s definitely one to keep an eye on speaking of Houston by the way Jaylen green is like extremely available all of a sudden in Houston which is very very weird because he had a good start to his career statistically and he’s clearly

Very talented but Houston is like a decent team and unfortunately for Jaylen green they’re like one what Jaylen green was supposed to be or maybe eventually will be away from being like a top eight top six team in the west and potentially more than that moving forward into the

Future and it’s weird because the almost the thing that is holding them back is like another back court Creator like explosive offensive guy and Jaylen green was kind of profiled as that as a as a draft pick and has kind of been that you know potential upside guy within their

Franchise since he’s come in the league um and he just hasn’t become that he’s not bad he’s just still very very young player and it’s interesting to me how much Houston is seemingly trying to push towards being good pretty soon of course they made all the moves in the off

Season they traded for Steph Adams who’s going to try and help them next year once he gets healthy and then again we have all these rumors about Jaylen green possibly getting moved as well before they hired udoka the Rockets would not be considering Jaylen trading away Jaylen green they want to let him

Develop they’d want him to um you know kind of become what they hope that he will be but they kind of need what J green is supposed to be right now if they want to end up being good and so again whether it be possibly as a part

Of the Mel Bridges trade package or just down the road in the future um Jaylen Green’s time in Houston might be kind of limited which is really strange to think about because I thought of him coming into the year as a pretty foundational piece for them yet amongst the young

Guys there with a beach Bari Smith uh shenon of course it seems like Jaylen green has kind of fallen out of favor in Houston and then the last part of this kind of weird funny trade rumor segment here um we’re still getting dejonte Murray buzz and I made a prediction that

He’s going to go to the Lakers um I’m still pretty confident in that but for whatever reason Detroit is involved in this um it seems like there’s four teams right now Milwaukee who can’t trade like anything for him I don’t know how that’s going to work um the Lakers have a very

Easy trade structure to be able to put together for de jonay marray if um they’re able to find a place for D’Angelo Russell to go to the Nets seem to be involved as well so they can add a guard alongside there guys um San Antonio that seems to have kind of gone

Away and Detroit also for whatever reason is involved in this um I would presume that it would involve jayen Ivy and some stuff and pair de jonay Murray with Kate Cunningham in the backourt it’s an interesting backourt because of the size and length of those two guys but I don’t really understand what

Detroit’s doing for two different reasons one they don’t need Deonte Murray this team’s terrible what is Deonte Murray going to do for them and two I think it’s very possible Jay iy could be like pretty good over the next couple of Seasons now that he’s actually getting reps and actually playing and I

Don’t know that that’s an asset that I would want to just completely give up on especially when I’m as bad as Detroit is especially for a player Inn Murray that is going to be on a huge massive contract over the next couple of Seasons I just I understand the concept of let’s

Make our team better so we’re not literally one of the worst teams of all time from a record standpoint that makes total sense um but the idea of dejon Murray being like a priority for you within the season that Detroit is in makes very little sense to me which

Honestly most of the rumors we talk about today make very little sense to me but that’s why they made the video that’s why they’re in the video is because they’re fun they’re interesting to talk about as we are getting so so close to the actual NBA trade deadline

  1. Who would want Lebron??? No team, and I mean no team can provide help to Lebron. He can be traded to the Denver Nuggets, and everyone in that team will be branded as "no help" to Lebron. Heck, if you take everyone in an all star team (Jokic, SGA, Joel, Luka. Steph) and put them in Lebrons team, all of them is no help to Lebron. Don't you guys understand??? Lebron NEEDS help no matter what team he plays for. If he played for MJ's Chicago Bulls team, the WHOLE team including MJ is NO help to Lebron! FACTS. Change my mind! I despise the Knicks, actually I despise both the Lakers and Knicks, so Lebron please force your way into the Knicks organization! The whole team will be providing you the the least help you need, and LA Lakers roster is now hot garbage because they can't give Lebron the help he needs. No team can, even a team with 5 Lebrons cannot give Lebron help. Trust me, I tried this in 2k, and one the Lebrons put his hands in the air with a caption, I have no help!

  2. He messing up another team lmao the Lakers traded they future to make him happy now he wanna trade wtf

  3. I would say that I'm pretty confident that the Mikal rumors are just rumors the nets came up with to increase the value of Mikal. like how is there a rumor that the Nets turned down 5 first round picks for Mikal. I don't trust no reports coming out of the Nets camp.

  4. There's no way trading away Mikal would get Nets all their picks back. At best, it'll fetch them two of their firsts and as many swaps and a good young player with potential not named Sengun.

Moreover, if Houston refuses to give back the Nets' picks on the front end, there can be no deal since it prevents the latter from going into a rebuild.

  5. I don't understand why the Nets would trade Bridges. The likelihood of getting a player as good as Bridges in any given draft has got to be less than 5%. He's not old. He's on a good contract. It's similar to the idea of the Jazz trading Markkanen. How does it make any sense? These are the kind of players you tank to get. You don't trade them away just so you can have a tiny chance of drafting someone who MIGHT be better after five years of development. I think it makes far more sense for the Nets to go the opposite direction. Wait for a star to come available. They have a nice core. What they need is a 1A scoring option. They have the picks (from Phoenix and Philly) and the salaries to make it happen without giving up either Bridges or Claxton.

  6. As a Pistons fan, I would absolutely hate this trade. Especially if it involves Ivey. Honestly, I would much rather keep Ivey than Cade. Cade is definitely more talented overall, but Cade is mediocre on D, and has literally no dawg in him. Ivey shows spurts of being a great defensive player, playmaker, and 3 point shooter, and actually has dawg in him. Maybe Cade is utilized wrong but he should not be our primary ball handler at all. As for Murray, I do not understand the buzz about him to Detroit. He doesn't fit into our timeline nor into our team's build. If they make that move it's a pure desperation move by Weaver to try and save his job by finishing with at least a decent record.

  7. Hes put 20 years in. I normally hate on him for this passive agressive BS, but not this time.id rather see him go out on a better note than say Shaq, Melo, or Duncan.
You can be a little picky in your last 2-3 years

  8. Lakers gotta get rid of Bron. We’ve seen this story wayyyy too many times and know how it ends. LeBron comes, makes superstars role players, demands more help, fires coaches, ruins future of the franchise and trades everything and then leaves for a better opportunity anyway leaving you in shambles. I can promise you if you trade LeBron for even just picks, Lakers make the playoffs as a 6 seed and MAYBE get a first round win. Throw whatever stupid stat you want about how desperately the lakers need LeBron, but I can guarantee the guys would play harder and stop complaining if LeLoweffort making $50 mil being toxic was gone

  9. He didn't get traded when he went to Miami. That was straight up Free Agency. Where the hell were you? Do you not remember the 2 hour special on ESPN "The Decision"? Who in the shit would want this bum on their team? The Lakers are stuck with him.

  10. The Nets should absolutely trade Bridges as his value is still totally inflated right now. The perception of Bridges has weirdly turned very quickly from "great role Player" to " borderline all-star" and i believe he is much closer to the first, but his value is closer to the second. The Nets are in a great position to start a serious rebuild, they are terrible, but somehow the rest of the league sees many of their players as very valueable. They can turn Bridges into a haul and can get very decent returns for DFS, Dinwiddie and o´neal, if they on top of that are able to get rid of Cam Johnson, who will be one of the worst contracts in the league starting next season, they are in great shape to be a good team in a couple of years.

  11. He’s not getting traded unless he wants it himself and I don’t see that happening mid season like this. He already said if he gets traded he’d just retire.. that threat alone, plus pending free agency would tank his value.. half a season of 40year old bron still has quality value tho…

  12. He wants to play with his son. If you dont want to waste a roster spot and lose him for free trade his ass its not that hard
