This seems like a disconnect from Kerr and the FO. I feel like the push to play Lester and Gui was more from the FO than Kerr not opting for Cojo or Dario. That slater article before made it clear that even if no major trade is done the focus would be giving the higher upside young guys more run than the vets that Kerr historically has gone to.
