Tough news about Shay H did exiting surgery yeah yeah that was uh that’s definitely tough news um you know it’s been a tough year for Shay man you know to stay healthy for a guy that never misses ever we’ve been out quite a bit but obviously this has been the
Source of it um most of it so I’m glad he’s getting it corrected you know getting it worked on but man it is it definitely is not uh it’s not the best news you’ve been in the league for a long time is this core muscle thing
It’s the same it’s the same thing Dame had it’s the same thing Nas had it’s the same thing Gary had have you when you were I mean you played in the leag my prac and you no but you like you played in the league for like what 17 18 years or whatever
And then you’ve been around have you ever like heard of that injury or that surgery before I’ve heard of like I think we all have like sports hernia that was a thing but not like to this level um I don’t know man it’s it’s
It’s weird I I just I don’t know what it is but uh we we’re kind of the experts on it at this point here in Portland so but yeah yeah it’s it’s been kind of strange how many you know it’s almost like those hand the hand things we had
Earlier in the season we kept having all these hand and thumb injuries and you know so I don’t know just just bad luck man so given the timeline with that surgery is it likely he’s done for the season or we don’t know no I think that
There’s a chance that he could come back uh towards the end but you you know we’ll just kind of see but I know that his whole thing is he’s like I’m I’m coming back this season I want to play some games you know so that’s that’s all he keeps saying
So uh that’s his Focus you know you guys you’ve talked a lot about passing sharing the ball lately um are there any other areas that you’re looking to emphasize here in the next couple months of the season after particularly have to get past the trade deadline and everything’s kind of locked
In yeah I think one of the things is that continues to hurt us is is just our uh our defensive rebounding man you know it’s it’s it kicks our butt you know um and we’re such a good you know offensive rebounding team that it’s just kind of
Strange you know but um I’ve been talking a lot about that here lately um and then also us just we just we we talk about it it’s just it’s not easy to do but we just need to play faster man you know that’s something else that I want
To keep pushing our guys to do is just just we need to play a lot faster than we’re playing um because we we don’t have like uh this potent offense where we can kick it around and we got 40% Shooters and eight of them
And we don’t have that so we got to find a way to beat teams down the floor before they set those defenses up you know um and then are penetrating to the point to the paint and then pass and then those things become really problematic um so those are a couple of
The things that that you know trying to focus on why do you think sometimes players are hesitant to do that Well one it’s hard to do you know um it’s hard to play that way because it’s not just the guy with the ball it’s those other four guys two guys got to Sprint all the way and get to the corner we got to space the court out
So uh it’s just not it’s not easy to do man it requires it’s a real commitment you know to play that way is hard it’s just you get tired as heck you know um so yeah it’s just been a little different than then you know we we set
It up that way all season long and then boom first game of the season ant goes down he’s one of the main guys that you wanted to push and then Malcolm obviously Malcolm doesn’t play that way you know that’s just not his game he’s more of a you know he’s diligent and you
Know so you got to give way to that some you know um so yeah it’s just it’s just been it’s been a tough little deal to do it but I’m going to keep coaching it and I think we can just we can still get better you you’re saying sprinting down
The corner to get to the cor to the corner spining down the cour to get to the corner then coming back and playing defense and then doing that again is not as easy as it looks it’s not as easy as it looks yes indeed I know it’s easy for
You cuz you’re a baller but you know I all game yes yes

♥️ ya, Chaunce. Tough fkn season for sure but sometimes shit gotta fall apart to be rebuilt stronger than ever – you see a guy’s true character when shit really hits the fan & Coach has always supported our guys thru it all. (Judging only from what I’ve been able to see obvs.) For this fan, as long as the players love him & feel good playing for him – that’s what matters most.
Fans had been begging the organization to pick a direction for years. We thought that happened when they chose to draft Scoot and trade Dame. If they don't make a trade, that is the definition of insanity. We are supposed to be rebuilding, and we have maximized the value of our vets. Time to let them go and pick a direction.
Wtf are we actually doing here?
We traded Dame because we decided to go with youth.
We've now got Scoot playing off the bench while Brogdan is starting?
Just bloody pick a direction
casey holdhal is a complete hac. aaron fentress needs 2 be fired asap.
