  1. Yeah cortisone should be fine for the playoffs. The Knicks surgeon is going to be busy this offseason.

that was worth the read, thank you. it sounds like hes not going to be better before all-star break which really sucks. i hope he gets surgery in the offseason.

This is reassuring in a sense, but also concerning. It effectively means OG will not be 100% the rest of the season and his performance will be contingent on his pain management and range of motion. Coming from a doctor who hasn’t actually examined OG, the only meaningful takeaway is that he is very likely to return to the court, but how much he’ll be available or look like his former self is up in the air (for now).

  4. I gotta be honest, we’ve been winning games but the minutes thing is a problem. If we keep the rotation to 8 in the playoffs we might fuck ourselves over with injuries.

  5. I just figured they were resting him through the AG since the team was still playing well. For me the most interesting thing about watching the team since OG has been on the bench is that they still appear to play better than they did when they had RJ and IQ.

Mets fan here, Lindor played at least a large part of the season with a bone spur then had offseason surgery. It’s more about pain management if they determine it won’t create damage to ligaments etc.. I think they will load manage the injury to make sure he’s healthy for the home stretch and playoffs the. Have the surgery this summer.

Sadly, with all the recent injuries, a great player to have right now would be RJ lol. I imagine he would’ve played a lot better when Randle wasn’t in the picture. But knowing our luck right now, he would’ve also gone down with something too…

feels like we are resting him to the all star break to get that extra prolonged rehab
