Be out at least four weeks some say he’s done for the season done for the Olympic so it’s interesting even if he’s not done bill is he going to be 80% 70% 100% if they do make a push and go to the playoffs but what are you hearing about

The Sixers and what they’re trying to do amid this to lmb injury news it’s been really strange actually trying to get information out of Philly because the the words and the verbiage and the communication coming out of Philadelphia has been really off and I get the sense

And this is speculation based just on people that I’ve talked to that this organization is really letting Joel embiid and his Camp move things and push things and run things and there’s some confusion I think even for that front office what’s going on Coach to answer

Donovan Mitchell they it’s been communicated to them then in the summertime that they think they can go get Donovan Mitchell or at least be in competition along with the New York Knicks that’s another team maybe the Brooklyn Nets but I’m told the Knicks and the Lakers believe and have been led

To believe that they can go get Mitchell now that’s an expensive price the Lakers would have to hold on to Austin Reeves I would imagine to make that deal work they have one tradeable first round pick right now that jumps to three if they wait till after the regular season coach

So yes part of the the frustration and the the calculus in La is they want to get LeBron help because LeBron is putting pressure on them to get them help but if they if they go and they get help right now if they upgrade with a to jontay Murray or insert whatever player

You want you’re moving on from that first round pick you’re probably moving on from Austin Reeves you’re certainly not having the assets you need to go get Donovan Mitchell so do you wait and try to get Mitchell in the summer not a guarantee far from a guarantee or do you

Move move now and try to take advantage of this LeBron window while it exists I think you wait and see if you can get Donovan Mitchell this summer and also the caveat to this is Bill you and I covered the Lakers in the playin tournament that Lakers team can compete

For a championship the Lakers team that played in the Madison Square Garden that Lakers team if they can bottle that up they can compete for a championship and make a Deep Run they just been inconsistent since the playin tournament so I would stand hat if I’m the Lakers

With this team especially if you think you have a 51% chance of getting Donovan Mitchell in off season and Coach we were talking a little B about this off camera but the Cavs I mean they’re they’re pretty darn good right now they’re second in the East I think they’ve won

Included in such a trade to make it work but Chicago needs to start over completely over and uh but I think Jamar J rozan can make a difference especially with a team that’s trying to Edge their way into a Conference Finals quick answer for me is Klay Thompson I still

Think he’s an outstanding player even though I know he’s not closing with the Warriors He’s not in his old self maybe a fresh start fixes things it’s a new GM Bob Myers isn’t there it’s Mike Ley Jr there certainly some Whispers around the en that maybe clay could be available

And I and I also want to add if he were to go to Miami then a guy like Tyler hero would probably be traded that would be a nice piece for Chicago as they start their rebuild yeah whenever the Dame rumors were flying uh Tyler hero
