I gave james hardens shoes to a homeless barefoot guy and he goes, “i dont want this shit”

  2. LuckyWarrior

Zion and CJ took over the 4th

Announcers at the end trying to cover for the Clips lol

  3. IAmMrMiyagi

AD saying u/retropels hit that anthem will never get old

What a win! The most important thing I saw was a Pelicans team that wasn’t just trying to “hang on” and squeak out a win. They got out to a lead, took the clips best punch in Q2 and Q3, and then put the game away. Zion and BI looked like the best players on the court in the same game, which is critical for their development.

They looked like the better team the entire game, which isn’t something I’ve seen in their other wins over top teams. When the lights get bright this team has folded, but today we kept our foot on the gas through all 4 quarters.

    Misc Notes:

    – Hope Jonas is ok
    – Trigga Trey is back
    – Zion played out of his mind
    – BI singlehandedly save this team in Q2

  5. workwork187

Zion and the CJ took over the 4th quarter and closed that one out. I will admit I thought we were gonna blow it. Proud of the fellas.

  6. Insanejuggla11

AD giving another shoutout to RetroPels will never get old. Ever.

  7. Pinky1337

Zion with 21 and 10 and pretty much won the Pels the game in the fourth but he was a -6 so does it really matter? – ESPN, probably

  8. GatorEggs-

Thank god the clippers just didn’t have it on offense tonight, no thanks to Dyson Daniels. Not like he played out of his mind tn or anything

  9. Huge win. Zion and CJ were insane in the 4th. Trey and Herb were insane in the 1st. Wire jobbed the 1 seed on the road. LFG

  10. uninspiredlt

The way teams played in transition tonight was huge. Pelicans hustled and got some good stops on fast breaks. They also more frequently outran Clippers defenders after steals

Great team game, hope JV is alright and did anyone see that naji was in street clothes? Is he injured? Or is he actually gonna get traded?

  12. mitch3311

Beat the lakers and there’s a real chance you go into the break on an 8 game winning streak.

Lakers on a back to back post trade deadline after an emotional Kobe statue unveiling.

Might be pretty dope to be a pels fan at the break

  13. Allmighty_Milpil

Dyson played a hell of a game. Love watching him lock people up.

  14. Turbo_S54

Held Kawhi, PG, Harden, and Russ to 45 points total..

    Great game on both sides.

  15. They gave up because Zion could get to the rim at will

  16. Aeschylus101

Amazing win tonight but i’m worried about JV. Hope his injury isn’t serious and he’s back next game.

  17. Savings-Bird-1226

Don’t know if yall noticed but they don’t hunt Zion on defense anymore

  18. About damn time! Repeat vs Lakers pls but Hawkins needs to be in the rotation

  19. SpaceAfricanJesus

“A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one”

I thought Zion played one of his best games in terms of processing. Many will look at him shooting 7-16 but a lot of those were on him, his shooting touch was a bit off tonight. But in terms of passing and defense (aside from a 3pt foul on Harden) were pretty on point.

I thought Hawk should’ve gotten minutes earlier but I digress. Nice win tonight.

  20. GreenVisorOfJustice

Heck of a game by the men. Got sketchy a lot and they continued to put it away. Good W

  21. WhileDizzy4503

Neutral here who just caught the last quarter. I really like your announcers and how they actually break down some plays & stuff.

  22. sonics_fan

I don’t really get the “ooh it was so tough for the Clippers to come back from their roadtrip.” Like they played in Atlanta on Monday. The Pels played in New Orleans on Monday. It was the only game at home for the Pelicans following 4 road games before traveling out west. Like yeah the Clippers had a longer road trip (7 games out east), but it’s not like it was some massive disadvantage for the Clippers, especially because they were on their home court.

  23. BasketTimely

Great team win. Everyone played great!

Zion started off shaky with his scoring missing easy ones but he was doing great playing the PG role. That start to the 4th quarter was dominate from him.

    Hope JV is okay!

  24. __azdak__

Wild how a dude who [//checks notes] is out of shape and hasn’t added anything to his game in 5 years just singlehandedly dominated the 4th quarter of a game against the #1 team in the league lol

  25. BatmanHive

Great win against the hottest team in the NBA. Zion and CJ were great in the 4th. BI and Trey good in 1st half. Hope Jonas is okay, his size is needed. If not then David Griffin has less than 24 hours to get some backup big.

  26. Mesame121489

I love Willie’s game plan tonight. Last game Ty Lue ran circles around him and today he paid it back. Like we say with the players you’ve shown us that you can do it now we expect it. And Z and CJ took over the fourth you love to see it. Flock the fuck up boys.

  27. Ended up better statistically in every major metric except for ft’s and 3p% (which was dead even in the end)

  28. JayDogon504

Zion took over in that start of the 4th quarter lineup that had been hurting us in so many close losses. I went into that 4th thinking we might see a similar script. Another sign along with the recent stretch of play that he’s in better shape now. Great win, now let’s go beat that other LA team on Friday!

  29. chadd1588

Shoutout to Herb who came out strong from the jump and played great the entire game. Just Herb doing Herb things

  30. P0w3rline24

We played a great fucking game is all the analysis I need
